Being a Motley Crue fan I was apprehensive buying my first SixxAM CD because I just have this expectation of Nikki and I did not want that to be changed in any way. I like him just as I knew him. But this has turned in to a favorite CD when I venture away from the Crue and am looking for something different, This is a great project they have started and assume will turn in to where Nikki turns his focus as the Crue wraps up at years end. If so, this is a good thing. They aren't the Crue, they are SixxAM, and they are dang good.

This is definitely a new sound for the band, but they make it work really well. If you are fan of Sixx:AM, you will notice that it's almost nothing like their previous two albums, but it's still a great. Don't let the angry reviews about how "they don't sound the same" turn you off until you hear it for yourself

This is, by far, the best record Sixx A.M. has released to date. From the anthemic rocker "Let's Go" to the amazing cover "Drive", the entire CD is amazing. There are no "filler" songs here, just great modern rock. The t-shirt is incredible as well. Well worth the money!

I have all 3 of SIXX AM's cd's. Really good song writing and good cd. I am a huge Mötley Crue fan and Nikki Sixx fan. But this is totally different music from Mötley Crue but it is real good music. I would recommend buying the first 2 cd's and start with the first and listen to all 3 in the order they were released.

Anything Mötley related is going to catch my attention. I was happy to find this nice package deal at Best Buy!

It's different from Mötley Crüe. Nikki Sixx always rocks nomatter what music he's involved with.

Sixx AM continues their streak of great albums. Just wish the shirt came in more than one size.

I have always been a fan of Sixx A.M., especially during their first two albums. This album is a departure from the This Is Gonna Hurt. No two songs on this album sound the same. The soulful remake of the Car's "Drive" is amazing to the rockin' opening track of "Stars" this album has something for every musical taste. James Michael is great vocally, DJ Ashba is amazing on guitars, and of course, Nikki Sixx is great always. Check this album out and see for yourself.

Under the guise of Sixx AM you have Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue fame exploring different avenues in the musical realm. As with their previouse releases, the songs are strong and filled with interesting lyrics. These are songs with more depth than his work with the Crue. The style is different as well, so if you're expecting a Crue soundalike album here, you'd do better listening to Vince Neil's first solo album. That said, I like the work he's doing with these guys and will continue to listen to Sixx AM.

Nikki Sixx need not worry about what to do after Motley's retirement. Sixx AM should keep him plenty busy. It has an energy that Crue has been (mostly) missing with their past few releases. Sixx AM just freakin' rocks! The last couple of tracks aren't very good, they sound more like demos to me, and the Cars cover was disappointing, but 8 of the tracks are great and what I've com to expect from 6AM. Very cool shirt of CD cover included, just took a few washings to get all the wrinkles out, lol

The reason I bought this album at Best Buy was because of the limited edition shirt that came with the album. I've yet to wear the shirt, but it looks pretty cool (album cover is what is displayed on the front of the shirt, pretty basic). It is a breath of fresh air that Best Buy still offers these limited edition promotions. By the way, the album is great.

The music was great! You get a t-shirt with the CD. I think it was priced too high.

I love me some Nikki Sixx, and he didn't disappoint with this album. Listening to this album makes me more excited to see Sixx:AM on tour! \m/
