I bought this OTA antenna so that I could watch football games while my cable provider settled a dispute with a local broadcasting company. The picture quality is actually superior to the picture I view with my cable box as its capable of true 1080p while most cable companies only achieve 1080i. I got this model because it came with an amplifier, which I assumed meant it would get a better reception than many of the cheaper options out there. However, living in a very populated area, close to many reception towers, I later found that the antenna would get better reception without the use of the amplifier! So I paid the extra money only to not use what I spent the extra money on. The amplifier may be worth the extra money if you live in a rural area, further away from reception towers but I have not tested this to see if that is the case. Overall I got about 30 channels through the scanner without the amplifier and about 23 with the amplifier. Some channels such as fox received noticeably better signals than NBC. Overall a solid device, but if you live in a large city I would probably recommend opting for a cheaper option than this product.

I saw that my brother bought this for his house in the black version. It picked up a lot of channels. I got tired of manipulating the bunny ear old school antenna that I had. I did some reviews prior to making this purchase. It took some patience to make it work. I had to move it around a few times before it started to pick up the channels I wanted. The design is sleek and minimal. Overall, I like it.

This antenna works great. It comes with velcro to attach it to your window or wall. We bought it to enhance our 65'' 4K Smart TV and we're very happy with it. It pulls in stations from Southern Ontario, Canada, since we're near the border. In addition to those channels, we also have about 50 locals (we get lots of UHF channels that have ''piggy back'' channels, too) that showed up when we did the first initial scan to find channels. Years ago we had a roof antenna, but after some bad weather it was inoperable. This antenna is flat and is mounted on the inside door of our sliding patio door, so even when the door is opened all the way, it doesn't interfere with the operation of the door because of its flat design. It's great! Works great, looks great, and is definitely worth the price! Plug it in, stick it on the wall or window, plug in the power source, and you've got full HD channels being broadcast directly to your TV without needing an account with the cable company. If you're on the fence about whether or not to buy an antenna, look no further, this is the one to buy.

I bought this for my TCL 5 series that's wall mounted in a secondary room of the house. I'm not running satellite or cable to this TV. I'm using the power outlet for the amplifier due to using a flash drive in the TV's usb port for pausing live TV. I originally connected the antenna and had it resting on the wall mount behind the TV so it could not be seen while standing in front. It picked up 35 channels and you have to remember that some of those are additional to a particular network (5.1. 5.2. etc). I'm in the Phoenix area and both 3 of the main local networks including ABC and CBS came in very strong with 5 bars of strength. I did not get FOX, NBC or the CW. I ended out moving the antenna up the wall to where the bottom that is connected to the coax cable is almost seen. I now pick up around 70 channels. Fox, NBC and the CW have 3 of 5 bars in strength now. For some reason I'm not receiving PBS even though it's in the channel list guide. It doesn't even show up with any pixeling. I might need to move the antenna slightly and run the channel search process again. Overall, it is a good product with many channels in 1080 or 720 resolution.

I previously tried an Amazon Basics 35 mile antenna but that didn't work for me. I was 29 miles away from the signal towers (according to tvfool.com and antennaweb.org) so I figured that should suffice. I bought this Mohu 50 with the amplifier to replace that and it certainly made the difference. It's a very easy setup, basically just plug and play. I didn't even have to mount it on a window. I just have mine sitting flat on top of a shelf. I get very clear reception for all my local channels (and then some). I've never had to rescan so far. Very happy with this purchase and the savings from cable companies.

The Mohu Leaf 50 works as stated. It is small, sleak and simple. Powers via usb on my tv and plugs right in to the antenna in jack. That's it. Simple it works for crystal clear stations for me at over 60 miles. I have it pinned to the wall behind the tv and you never see it. It just works.

I stream my tv with Sling TV so I don't get all my local channels, so I've been wanting to get an antenna to see if it works. After installing it and trying it out, it works really good, my main local channels are in pretty good HD quality. I get a total of about 60 channels. Of course most of them are basic local channels that I've never seen before, even when I had regular cable, but my main channels are all there. Fox, NBC, CBS, the CW, and ABC. That's what I hoping for, so all these new antennas work as good at they say, of course based on where you live. This antenna comes with an amplifier to help boost the signal, so if you don't live in a major city and you live somewhere in the middle of no where, then you would hook up the amplifier to help boost the signal. But you still might have an issue getting channels. I've seen that in a lot of reviews, people only get like 10 channels, but they live in an area where the reception doesn't reach, so it's difficult to get channels. I live in a major city so after reading the instructions, I hooked up my antenna without the amplifier and it worked great, I got my 60 channels and really good picture quality. So the amplifier will interfere with the cable tv antenna signals, which is why if you live in an area that's close to the cable tv signals, then you probably won't need to hook up the amplifier with your antenna. The instructions are pretty straight forward, so just follow that and you should be good.

I am amazed! This antenna is great. The 6 foot cable is great. It allows movement North, East, West, and South to pick up other stations. I am 49 miles from the national nearest station and 38 from a PBS station. I have enjoyed seeing stations again that I have not seen in many months or years! Simple and easy to set up and use.

I found the Mohu Leaf 50 while searching for good alternatives to cable TV. I have Netflix to watch my movies and just needed local channels without paying for it. The Mohu Leaf works perfectly; I have good reception. I bought the white one so It can blend in with my wall!

The mohu leaf antenna is the best available. It took me 5 minutes to set it up, scan for channels and start watching. I was able to pull 50 local channels and only had an issue with one channel that didn't like to come in where my antenna was. A few minutes later we found a better spot, used the integrated signal meter and had the channel up and running great. If you are thinking of cutting cable and getting an antenna the mohu leaf is the best choice. It is as thin as paper, easy to set up and easy to use.

Mohu Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor Antenna much is better than expected. Live on the coast south of Los Angeles approximately 60 miles from most broadcast antennas and the Mohu leaf 50 still pulled in 134 channels (some not in english). In most cases, the picture quality in HD is better then the cable company! We're thinking of cutting the cable and trying this on one of our TV's to see if it works for us... so far, so good. Definitely need to find a suitable place to put the antenna. We tried several places before getting great reception.

I purchased the Mohu Antenna for my brother's TV and it is much better than the one I'm using for my TV. I intend to a Mohu myself. I like the fact that it can be installed on a wall, is so thin and lightweight and does not take up any table space. The reception is excellent.

I purchased this antenna after reading lots of reviews. I got the item home and set it up immediately. Right out of the box I got more than 20 stations. With varied placements I was able to get it to over 34. That was great! I got stations from MA and RI, but it appears the maximum range or this antenna is about 30 miles since there are additional stations within a 50 mile radius that are not detected. the stations that come in are very strong and clear. However, I really purchased this antenna for my place in the White Mountains of NH, since I do not have cable there. I brought it up north the next week and set it up. Out of the box I got no stations. This is despite the fact there are 3 network affiliates within 30 miles. I finally got one station by placing the antenna on the seat of my rocking chair in the middle of the room. Any movement at all and the station was lost. No other placement in the house yielded any stations. I do not know if it was the surrounding mountains, but if I purchased the antenna solely for the NH house, I would have returned it. I also purchased two other antennas as Walmart to test. These were made by GE. One was amplified and one was not. These were not able to detect any channels in either home. Thus, this antenna really out performed the others in the suburbs of Boston. I will keep this antenna for my primary home south of Boston as I will be disconnecting the TV's in my bedroom and office from cable and savings some money each month. However, I am still without any tv in NH.

I think I had higher expectations for this antenna. The TV stations in our area are spread far apart. I want to cut the cable because it's ridiculous to have your cable/internet/phone bill as the highest bill you pay on a monthly basis. Once hooked up, the antenna will pick up anywhere from 15-25 channels depending on how & where it's positioned. The worst part is I can't get all the major channels (CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX) by keeping the antenna in one place. So depending on what I want to watch, I have to change the location & position of the antenna. The reception is really good when I can receive the channels, actually a better picture than coming through the cable box. I'm going to buy a 2nd antenna for the TV in the downstairs den. Hoping for a little better stability in receiving the major channels without having to re-position the antenna.

I was nervous about ditching cable and going with only an antenna, but there was no need. The picture is just as good as HD cable and I get more channels than I expected. It's easy to set up and unobtrusive. Cut the cable cord, get the leaf.

I bought this primarily for over the air sports programing for the TV on our patio. I did not want to pay for any additional satellite box. It was easy to connect and gets very good reception for the channels I wanted. It seems to pick up all of the over the air channels that are available in our area. I also have a TV in my guest room. I got rid of the satellite box in there because it was only used a few times a year. If I have a guest, I can easily move the Leaf into that room. The reception is good, especially if the Leaf is placed in a window. I have a CBS construction home with a metal roof and get good reception even in the window not facing the local towers. With the Leaf, Chromecast, and Slingbox we can get everything (and more) on both TVs without the added expense of additional satellite boxes. My only suggestion would be to include additional options for mounting the Leaf. It comes with small pins that you can push into drywall or wood. It also has Velcro tabs that have adhesive on them. I do not want to put pin holes in the walls and I do not want a Velcro tab stuck on the wall when we are not using the antenna. I purchased clear suction cups with small metal hooks on them. The leaf has two small holes on the top for the pins. We hang the Leaf on these in a window when using it. We can put everything in a drawer when it is not in use.

Works surprisingly well for its small size and flat design. It is very directional and takes a bit of patience and positioning to pull in a strong signal. I am in remote location and have to pull in my signal from a translator station (about 20 miles away) and am very happy with the results I get.

This antenna was a pretty decent choice. We tried several different brands and this one would initially find the most channel options. The downside is while it would find more options the clarity is not always dependable. Our other tv with another brand will have the same channel coming in clearly, while this one will be going in and out sometimes and clear as a bell other times, the cheaper one in the other room picked up less initial channels, but the channels both share never fluctuates in and out like this one. I liked that it was flat and could be easily attached to the wall, but to get a good signal I had to move it near the window and unfortunately it looks like what it is...a giant rectangle stuck on the wall. Still cheaper then cable and better then the "as seen on tv" one and the cheaper alternate version I tried before it.

After evaluating various HD antennas online, I decided to try the Mohu 50 as it was the only "Multidirectional" antenna I found. Boy am I glad I did! Getting amazing reception from two different broadcast antennas directions here in Charlotte NC. And better yet, I laid it flat on the carpet under the TV and it's saved me attic/outdoor antenna installation and cable run. So Sweet! Thanks MOHU!
