This antenna pulls in stations up to 40 miles in my area. The most difficult part was getting the antenna placed in the correct area to pick up the stations I wanted. I originally put the antenna in a window thinking the slim thickness of glass would provide the best signal. I was wrong. I pulled out my ladder and moved the antenna into several different positions then scanned the area for new stations. It took about five different locations but I can now pick up all the major networks including PBS. If you get this antenna on sale it is worth the price.

I needed an antenna for local stations. I bought the Leaf Metro which pulled in all channels great. Easy to set up. Only I didn't get NBC (which is only about 20 miles away.) So I upgraded to the Leaf 50...and saw no discernible difference in quality among all of my stations and still no NBC. Come to find out, NBC is blocked in my area which is why I didn't get the station. But Both antennae were great to work with and seemed to bring in good quality picture/sound.

Works well but like all indoor open air antennas location makes all the difference. Check the internet for where tv antennas are in your area. If you can place this antenna in a window that faces an antenna it will pick up that station if it's within the 50 mile range, if not you might not. So you location makes all the difference. Saying that I'm in an apartment on the bottom floor. I hooked up cheap rabbit ears and received 10 local channels. Hooked up the Mohu-50 antenna and got 25 channels very clear in HD.

I recently cancelled my cable subscription and decided to buy an indoor antenna. The antenna located numerous channels and the local stations had an HD quality picture. Sometimes I will encounter a little pixel activity for shows containing heavy activity such as a basketball game. I did have to move and adjust the antenna initially but I was able to find an ideal spot and the picture displayed well. It's still a good purchase especially if you are a recent cord cutter.

We bought on of these on line, a different brand and it works but not nearly as well as this guy. Don't know exactly how many channels we are getting, looks like 50 or so the picture is crisp and clear and the reception is great. The only drawback in my area is I can't seem to pick up CBS, channel 2 in my area. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again. Beats the heck out of paying for cable.

We are very happy with this antenna! We get over 30 channels with very little interference. We get hi def channels as well. Easy to setup and use. Very skeptical about using antenna. Not now. Doubt we'll go back to cable.

Our satellite TV provider stopped carrying one of our local stations. We got the antenna to get the channel we no longer received and whatever else the antenna might pull in. We now get 19 local stations with the antenna, about 13-14 more than I expected. The antenna was very easy to hook up. We get great reception and a great picture. Good price. A very good buy. We would highly recommend this product.

This is a nice, sleek, unobstrusive product, easy to use, but must be placed near window if you want it to work properly.

This does a really good job getting the broadcast stations with good picture and sound quality. We bought this one, which according to information supplied is more powerful than what we would need. In other words, we are closer to broadcasters than we need to be for this antenna. According to the documentation the one just below this would have been the right one. However, this one still required careful placement and even a slight move would make it lose a few stations or make them come in glitchy. I'm talking about 1/4 inch move, which is not much. Once we found the exact placement it worked really well. We are very happy with it now and would recommend it, but I'd suggest getting whichever antenna has MORE range than is recommended. Considering how careful we had to be with placement for this one I can't imagine what a hard time we'd have had if we'd gone with one with the recommended range.

I was using an Antennas Direct ClearStream that came with the Tivo. It retails at $99 at Best Buy. When I upgraded and hung my TV on the wall, we got this antenna. I will say while I live pretty far out from a lot of towers, I do get a lot of reception for the most part. It randomly can't get the one that is farthest away (about 40+ miles), but it does great all the rest of the time. I will say, where it makes up for it, is the fact that it's so slim, we actually mounted it out of sight, behind the TV on the wall. Very cool!

Well built, amplified and easy to install. Does a decent job at mostly only getting the strong signal channels. If your TV is closer to an outside wall or window you have a better chance at good reception which diminishes considerably in a bigger house.

Worked well. Reception is better than adequate. Better than expected. Nice handy size and easy to use and install.

This Mohu - Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna is great and easy to set up. The signals are weak inside my rooms where I could only receive one channel, but after relocating the antenna to behind a window, I now can receive about 10 good channels.

I live right at fifty miles from nearest towers so though I would try the amplified Mohu. Although I am right of the edge of recommended reception area, I do live on top of a hill so I was skeptical as to whether this would work or not. The channels that it pulls in are clearer than my direct sat. There are however other channels that do not come in at all, but again I don't fault the antenna but rather my distance issue.

I read several reviews before deciding to purchase this specific antenna. The HD picture quality has been very good, much better than cable, and the reception is adequate for local channels and even some about 40-50 miles away when the weather is good. The antenna was easy to attach to the back of my entertainment center and I liked the fact that I could replace the coax cable with a shorter length.

The antenna is quite simple to hookup and use, but I should have done more research before purchasing this product. I have steel siding and I found out steel siding acts like a shield to the TV signals. I was able to get great reception for several of the UHF channels available in the area when I had the antennal in a window. I wasn't able to get any of the channels broadcasting on VHF. Not being able to get two of the channels I wanted most, I returned the product to Best Buy.

I live be on the outskirts of Atl Ga and I decided to drop cable. This antenna gives me in the vicinity of 20 channels over the air. Some are Hispanic (only a couple) and all seem to have clear to mostly clear reception. Pair this with Roku and perhaps Amazon and Netflix and that's more than I can watch and a lot cheaper than cable tv! Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because if the device is moved, you'll have to rescan for channels. It's a necessary evil but would be worth 5 stars if not for that.

I was a little optimistic about the power of the Leaf as it is really thin, but this antenna has better range than other antenna's within the same range group. It pulls in about 27-30 channels for me, which my house is on a hill and has straight view on 3 sides but has a mountain in its way on the other side. I did notice that you get better reception if its laying flat instead of up and down.

TV is free again with this ingenious HD antenna, there are plenty of over the air broadcast channels. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because it did not work for me because of my living quarters. However, when I handed it over to a friend for a trial, it powered in almost 30 channels. Living on the coast of Florida, our towers are more limited, but I know a lot of people in more metropolitan areas, that use this handy, easy install antenna, makes dumping cable a breeze.

Did not work as well as the larger Mohu Leaf. I was surprised at how many free channels were available. Learning to cut the cord on cable, and definitely this was a great way to do it. We got about 40 channels, some we were not aware of in the DFW area. Only reason we did not give it a 5, was you really need an outside wall to get the best reception and if your TV is not located near the wall you will have a long cord to the outside wall.
