It works okay, it has to be positioned just right to receive a strong signal.

New York City, on the top floor of my building, facing north and unobstructed. Even though one side was bent back (or forward, depending which way you look at it), I don't think that being disfigured like that should have affected the reception. The problem was that there was virtually no reception, no matter where I placed it, not matter how many times I scanned the airwaves. Yes, I did get a few channels each time, but even the ones I got played inconsistently. So I can't recommend this antenna, but I have to say that I know other people who successfully use Mohu antennas (not this one but rather the Releaf anntena, which I tried but without consistent success.) I now use Locast.

I have purchased every known antenna one could own. I find that the amplified antennas make me lose channels, rabbit ears work well surprisingly, but this antenna, OMG!!!!!!! I have been able to get only 45 channels and a higher utility bill using the hd amplified antennas that use my electricity needlessly. The rabbit ear antennas can give me from 70-77 channels in different parts of my home. The Mohu Metro Leaf gives me 80-88 clear, crisp, uninterrupted channels in each and every room without cessation. The attached cord is long enough to place within my window and any where else I so choose with no issue. The cord is sturdy and durable as well, except for my when my snaggletooth cats who like to chew on cords get a hold of it (that's another topic). I added suction cups with hooks to easily attach this to my window or wall (where ever one receives maximum reception). I plan on getting a longer cord for the future, as I will be moving it beyond the 10' or so included cord's length range in the near future. Even this is no issue since the cord is not very expensive to replace should one need to do so (an easy $2 or so for a replacement, depending on how long one wishes to extend its naturally long 10' reach). You can not go wrong and will be more pleased than if spending much more to receive much less. I am able to receive long lost and highly desirable channels that a person wasting money on cable would envy. (By the way, I live in NYC within the bustling five boroughs.)
