I have an attic mounted old style antenna that pulls in about 20 channels. I mounted this antenna on the roof because the design was wife approved. It looks great. I mounted on a satellite pole with ease. Didnt use the included coax but it was nice. Once installed I scanned again and picked up over 40 channels. I aimed it to specific channels towers I wanted but the unit also did a good job of pulling in channels in the opposite direction. I will be getting another unit for the RV! I have purchased a lot of antennas and this was by far the most compact and responsive antenna I have used. Wish it included a weatherproof boot for the coax. It is plastic so I hope it holds up in the sun.

not going to lie was very skeptical. I had an indoor mohu antenna, and could get enough channels that I could use it when directv went out during bad weather. Well we recently dropped directv, and went another direction, but need local stations. Grandson and I hooked it up using the old cable from satellite and 41 channels appeared strong. Havn't had bad weather yet but hoping it doesnt loose signal, if it does i'll mount it in attic.

Mohu Sail vs Clearstream 4max in attic

After hurricane Zeta blew through New Orleans many lost power and cable/internet. We actually got our power back up after a few days but it was several days after when we got our cable internet back up. I bought this Mohu sail after the storm and it was decent but not as good as the Clearstream 4 max. The Mohu sail comes with a nice little amplifier. I returned the Mogul in favor of the Clearstream which I installed in my attic.

excellent antenna. works great. i live in a rural area well outside city limits. i pick up tv stations as far as 80 miles with it. also, its not so intrusive looking on the outside of your home, if you choose to mount it on your roof. mine is mounted on a post, 100' from my home along the west side of the property facing an open farm field. this antenna has been through some serious weather this past summer, including high winds, and heavy rains. it has not faltered at all. i have no doubt it will be fine through the winter months. 1 downside is it does not like splitters on the antenna side of the coax. i had to remove one that was installed prior to me living here. fortunately, i only have one tv to use on it. now if only they could come up with a long range antenna like this in Bi-directional...

This antenna was easy to setup and I like the design of it! It’s mounted on a roof that about 20-35 miles away from broadcast towers and it picks them up well. Would recommend it if you’re not any farther than that away from your stations and are able to outdoor mount it!

I have owned Mohu antennas in the past and this one is the best. This antenna is exclusive to Best Buy and it's not listed on Mohu's own website(?) No info on the antenna or the accessories. All that said... this antenna pulls in more channels than my previous Mohu mounted on the roof in the same spot. bottom line [just better all-around] No pointing necessary it will grab channels in any direction a huge plus.

Easy to set up and works great and I get more channels then I expected. I tapped into my old spectrum line we no longer used and it feeds all the outlets that spectrum installed so each tv will get the signal and there is no latency or diminished quality. I have it connected to 4 TVs and all receive the same quality which is great for us “cord cutters” as I’ve heard it called

We live in a rural area with no options for cable. So this was our solution for receiving local channels. Works great and picks up several stations we could not get before.

Replaced older, indoor leaf type antenna that began to have problems receiving several stations. I now have considerably more channels on my TV and reception is wonderful. I live in a rural area where local television is hard to come by without a satellite dish. With smart televisions, streaming available the way it is today coupled with the use of this antenna, I was able to one time pay for the antenna, drop my satellite service, (saving literally hundreds of dollars a year), and have more stations I watch than those on the satellite service.

I had other indoor and out door antennas this products is a stand out. Other antennas gave me 11 - 16 channels; 43 with this baby and a picture clear and stable. No storms yet to test performance in poor conditions.

We live in the mountains, but in a valley. There are trees surrounding our house. We had difficulty getting reception and I wanted the major networks. We went back and forth to best buy 3 times and kept returning antennas that could not pick up all of the networks. We are over 60 miles from the transmission towers. This brand gives us all three major networks plus 13 additional channels! It’s great and the reception is crystal clear. Antenna is indoors.

I had a large traditional antenna that had difficulties picking up more than a few channels clearly in my area. Before giving up, I spoke with someone knowledgeable at Best Buy. He recommended this antenna. He was right. I went from three channels to 27! What a difference. It wasn’t that my old antenna wasn’t good, because I gave it to a family member that uses it in their area to get over 30 channels clearly. And it really is omnidirectional. After attaching and aiming it (with Antenna Point app), I had to turn it 90 degrees to remove the old antenna. After forgetting to reset it, I still got all but one channel clearly. Amazing!

I needed a good antenna that I could use while camping in my RV. I spent every weekend this past summer, in the same spot at a particular location that was about halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee. The particular spot I was in had some issues that would cause distortion of the television signals coming in. I had previously purchased another antenna that didn't seem to do the job. I could only pick up about nine or ten channels, and even they would get distorted. I replaced it with the Mohu antenna and it picked up over 70 channels, with little to no distortion.

Works pretty good. We scanned and got lost of the tulsa channels. We are about 60 miles from their towers. Old Omni directional just quit working - maybe the amplifier went out. Picked this up instead of messing with it

It's not perfect, but it works better than any other antenna I have tried, and I have tried many. It's the only one that allows me to receive NBC, though it fades out sometimes. All the other antennas wouldn't even pick up NBC at all on the channel search.

this unit was very easy to hook it. It was easy to understand and read the directions. The unit came complete with everything need to install. It is a very good unit but a bit to directional to get all the options in the ares.

Great antenna! I recently added an Amazon FireTV Replay DVR box to view and record over-the-air TV channels. When I first hooked it up, I had a simple square window-style antenna. The box scanned 14 channels, missing some of the main ones in the area. Many of the channels had low reception. I realized that a better antenna was needed, so I purchased the Mohu Sail and installed it in the attic. It came with coax cable, but I already had coax running to the attic for a no-longer needed VHF antenna, so I used that for an easier install. Mounting brackets in the package made installation easy. I would recommend drilling pilot holes for the large mounting screws. After connecting my DVR to the new antenna and rescannig channels, I got 51 channels! Most come in with good quality signals, so I'm very happy with this antenna! This also allowed me to drop my cable service from Xfinity and go Internet only. That gave me faster speed Internet for less monthly cost, so I'm very happy with this antenna!
