    Best Buy Ghosted me after their installation faile

    I couldn't give zero stars but i would. I bought a vent hood from Best Buy and had them install. During installation it kept shorting out the breaker, so the installation guys tried redoing their wiring several times (the installationguys were great). They finally found the factory wiring coming out of the motor was exposed and touching the metal housing. They put a piece of electrical tape temporarily but called it in and told them it needed to be replaced. They told me it was a fire risk and to insist it be replaced. They gave me the phone and the lady said they had no more of the same model to replace and would call me back to make an appointment for a technician to come out. I asked for her telephone number but she could only give me her email address. After not hearing from her for a week i emailed. Still no response. I called the customer service line. A new guy told me the only date they could send someone was December 2... no other dates in November, December or January. I told him i was out of town on December 2. He said to keep that appointment and he would talk to a supervisor and get back to me with a better date for a technician to come. Since then i have not heard anything and emailed 3 times to BOTH the people i spoke to and still no answer. In the emails i told them to cancel Dec 2 as i told them I'd be away. Now getting texts from Best Buy that they are coming tomorrow December 2. The text wants me to confirm but there is no option to cancel. I guess the guy will show up tomorrow to no one home, but that's on them. BTW i am a Best Buy Total Member.
