Monster always offers great protection and this outlet surge protector has a great design that takes up very little space.

This product works well, and I like the inclusion of USB ports for charging. This is meant to be screwed into the middle of the outlet, though, so if you have non standard outlets with a surge protector built in, like I do, this one won't be quite as secure into the wall as it's meant to be. It's not as much an issue if it's under a desk or behind a TV, but if you're plugging a vacuum into it, it may come unplugged from the wall with that outlet type.

Bought it for my 13 yr old spoiled son young man cave. Plugged all i-tems: Mac Book Pro, iPad, iPhone, iPod. Also the Cannon Scaner/Printer and old Surface Tablet when required. It has not blown up yet so I guess deserves a good rating. It is sitting on top of his work desk and is not very stable as it is designed to be plugged into the wall outlet. But plugging it in the wall would not had worked well with all cables stretched or too short to reach anyway. It serves the purpose to protect all these expensive devices.

I recently purchased a new TV and wanted to make sure it was protected properly, especially since you never know what can happen. I was researching this while at the Best Buy store and compared it to the price and reviews on Amazon. Best Buy did the price match and I really like the 6 plugs with the 2 USB ports. I am able to protect everything while charging. Great item!

This small surge protector is a solid unit. The USB ports give you the option to charge an iPad as well (1 or the ports is 2.1A vs. 1.0A). Overall, this is a good unit, just make sure you pick it up on sale, as it is not a good value at list price (I found it at a competitor for $14 and Best Buy did a price match). 4-star is only due to not being a good value for the price.

I don't care for the surge protectors that have cords that you have to figure out how to hide. This one sticks out of the wall a bit extra when you plug in your electronics, but it's only right at the outlet site. If you have a tight space, it's not ideal, if you want everything in one place and the outlet is under a table so the bulk in that location isn't offensive, it's perfect. I like the white color, fits in with my walls a lot better than all of the black. (They offer black too for those with dark walls). Only disadvantage, no on/off switch to save juice when nothing is needed.

This surge protector was exactly what I was looking for. It is streamline and compact while providing adequate surge protection. the Moster name and reputation gives us peace of mind knowing our electronic device is well protected against power surges.

These are really clean looking and easy to install. I have eliminated 4 extension cords and 2 surge protectors with these. The USB ports make it easy to charge your phones and tablets

I loved that it had 2 USB charging places and having the 6 plugs is handy for small appliances to be plugged into. The item screws into the plug so it will not come out when you pull a plug out. I purchased two of these outlets one for our house and one for my parents so it is easier to charge our phones.

Extra outlets are nice to have, USB ports are a bonus. No power surge yet so can't speak to that issue.

I used it in around our kitchen counter. Kids plug there phones in the USB outlet while we have Coffee pot and other things plugged into the regular outlets. if we didn't have the USB outlets then, we would be playing Russian roulette with all appliances on the kitchen counter.

Needed extra outlets in the kitchen and living room and this worked out great. It's nice to have dedicated USB ports and the unit is a surge protector. Have purchased other monster products in the past and this product lives up to their reputation.

My home is 30 years old and has some grounding issues. This product allows multiple layouts of plugins at the same time a phone and laptop can be charged. No complaints. 4 stars because it has not been tested in a surge (so no data, thank goodness). We have several around the house used for coffee makers, guitar amps and computer recharging.

This thing is great. I use it next to my nightstand for my lamp, iPhone and my iPad. The only thing is the bolt that came with it wasn't long enough for my standard wall outlet. Home Depot was great for that

Great item, I wish it would mount flush to the wall receptacle. You must remove the deco cover to use. It is better than the plug in wire type, that will get in the way and collect dust.

Awesome product. Only thing is there was a little tiny gap between the product and the wall. Fyi it's cheaper online than at the store or just get them to price match.

It's monster.....it's a wall plug...put the two together and you have a quality product with 2 USB ports to charge any device that has a USB cable to charge it.

Quality outlet surge protector by Monster. Functions perfectly thus far. USB ports definitely a plus. Haven't had it long so I can't speak to it's longevity but so far so good. Could be a bit cheaper but Best Buy matches Amazon prices so it was a great deal. Love having the extra outlets, all protected. Liked it enough to buy 3 of them.

Nice to know any items plugged into this outlet are protected by the 1080 joules of surge protection, but the real nice feature is the two convenient front-facing USB ports eliminating the need to keep extra USB plugs on hand. Highly recommend this product for anyone looking to combine these two great features.
