Needed a short hdmi cable and something quality. could I have purchased something cheaper..sure, but this cable seems like it'll last where as the cheaper ones didn't. This was the most however I could see spending on an hdmi cable. Others from the same manufacturer go for substantially more but in my opinion it gets into diminishing returns after this.

My brand new samsung 3d/smart tv was having trouble catching up with the digital signal from the cable box. There were some LED blocks here and there. The weakest link from the cable box to the tv was the supplied HDMI cable from the cable company. I replaced the weakest link with Monster Cable Gold HDMI, and everything looks WAY better.

I was advised in advance by the people who installed my HDTV that I needed a realy robust cable to connect my AppleTv to the unit. I went to Best Buy, explained my requirements, was directed to the proper cable by a Best Buy Associate, installed it, and everyone agreed it was the right choice. Thank you!

Would recommend this as a high quality hdmi cable. It provides a clear picture and was easy to switch out.

These HDMI cables I bought was to replace the cables that Comcast gives you free with your cable box. These HDMI cables have gold connections which is what I wanted. They work great.

Cable is great but price is high. The difference in picture quality as compared to a much less expensive HDMI cable is undetectable. The Monster cable and similar "premium" cables are more durable but I really don't see any difference to justify the cost.. It states: HDMI A/V cable that supports up to 4K resolution and 3D video signals...that's what a HDMI cable does, so if the $9 one meets the same HDMI standards how does the $49 one do 40 dollars more worth of A/V transmission? I suppose if you have lots of cables and possible cross talk/interference the Monster cable may be shielded a bit better, but who knows for sure? The Best Buy tech really pushed the Monster cable and I'm sort of wondering what they use in-store for displays. Maybe they should have a side by side comparison so we can actually see if there is a difference.

This is the 6th time that I have purchased a product manufactured by Monster and I have never been disappointed. It is a premium product well worth the price. Why would anyone have the best TV and components and not connect them together with the best HDMI cables?

Purchased cables for the blu-ray player purchased. Had HDMI cables but not the correct level, just standard cables. Salesperson helped me select these cables. It was a little more money but the investment of the higher quality balanced out the decision.

I got this hdmi cord because my sister said I should for better picture quality. I asked the sale gentlemen which hdmi cord is good he took the closest and second expensive cord next him and gave me. I asked him what make it the best hdmi cord he could not say but the look on his face says that I am bothering him. Good thing their is my sis to help explain why and how. Girl power!!

After we bought our new TV we were disappointed in how the picture was. People kept asking me if I had nice cables and I thought I did. I had high end HDMI cables - from 10 years ago the last time I bought a TV. A store associate recommended this and it made an immediate difference. I do think though that the cable is not very flexible which made it difficult for our set up.

We needed an HDMI cable for a new Samsung TV and sales person suggested this product. I had to reseat the cable once a few days later but that was the only problem that we've had. We've had a great picture with our new TV on our U-Verse system.

I liked using this HDMI for picture but I didn't have the proper sound equipment to take advantage of the high quality sound you can receive using the cable. So, I returned to. If I had better sound equipment it would be worth the buy. 100%.

I bought the other cables recommended by an associate said better than monster I bought the silver version but both on my tv and monster hands down had the better picture! everyone that I asked there opinion without knowing which cable it was agreed.

We bought this cable because we bought a T.V. from a friend and needed a cord to hook up the blue ray player, this cable fit the bill for what we needed. It is long enough and easily hooked up, blue ray works fine now that we have this cable.

I was not sure if I would get as clear a pic on my 4k hd tv as with the more expensive 2.0 cables. No fear. This works amazing. I highly recommend it. I also like the fact that it clips in, so it is very difficult for it to become loose.
