I bought these headphones looking to save a few dollars over the competition but beware they are not as comfortable or have the sound quality of some of the higher-priced headphones. Ultimately I returned these and spend the extra money on a better set.

These headphones call for a twenty hour break in period to hear all the freq. Range. Unfortunately my headphones didn't last that long before the right ear became quiet and crackled if you turned them up at all. They where comfortable though just wish they would have lasted. They also claim moderate noise isolation but I could hear everything with them in and no sound coming through. I would say there is minimal noise isolation because they do not seal at all I your ear like normal in ear buds that cost$10. Can't believe that a product from Monster didn't last 30 days.

I don't really care about sound quality that much, but this one had only so-so sound, most likely because it's not an in-ear bud but rather rests outside your ear. Cord noise wasn't too bad, but it was still a little bit more than I was hoping for.

I have a pair of the earlier version of the Monster sport headphones, which sound great, but the little rubber earbuds keep falling off the earpieces, so I was really looking forward to trying these. My biggest complaint was that I couldn't get them to feel comfortable sitting in my ear and I had even tried all 3 sets of different sized ear pieces. They felt like they were only halfway in, but maybe that's the design to allow ambient noise in? I expected the sound quality to not be as robust as my other monster headphones that seal in the ear and block out all ambient noise, but the sound suffered greatly because of how the earbuds sat in my ears. I had to return them.

I bought these headphones with a gift card. I'd never really invested in a nice pair of headphones and these have been the best purchase I've ever made. I literally use these headphones everyday. I look forward to being able to use these headphones. The audio quality is perfect, I really can tell a difference between these and a cheap pair of headphones. I use these everyday at the gym and at work listening to music and podcasts. Definitely a great product.

These earbuds work well and sound great....but do allow outside noise in. However, if you are riding a bicycle or running on a roadway, that is not a bad thing as you will be able to hear other traffic. They seem well built and I like the tangle resistant cords. The iPod controls are on the left ear cord, which I liked...makes it easier to find if you're wearing ski clothes.
