The only reason I chose these over the Bose soundsport was that they got markdown $40. The markdown was important to me because well, they're going to break anyway eventually, these kinds of things don't last years. The sound is decent but they're not as clear as the bose are. They're slightly muddier to where the instrumentals and vocals kind of blend together. They do however have better bass then the Bose do. They fit well and don't fall out when I'm running but I'm kind of biased to begin with because I don't like the kinds of headphones that stick in your ear canal, they drive me nuts, as these do. So to sum up if you're rich by the Bose or better yet the $1,000 Sure headphones but if you want a pair that'll stay in your ears while you run and sound decent then get these.

I have purchased several earbuds over the years and found these headphones to be the best wired earbuds and at $99 was a great deal. They use to cost $179 a year ago when I nearly bought them but went with Blutooth instead. I prefer not have to think about charging my earbuds and the sound quality is much better. Very comfortable for multiple hours at a time. Great pair of headphones for the gym!

They are great headphones sweat proof and isolates the sound

I have had 4 pairs of these headphones over the last 2 years or so. Thus, I feel like I am the must qualified person to review this product. Let me start off by explaining why I've had 4 different pairs. I use these headphones roughly 10 hours a day, every day. I use these headphones to supplement the gym, high intensity runs, and casual, laidback situations. In addition to excessive use, the wiring shell/casing is not very durable. For example, my last pair, I gave one of the buds a good tug on accident and it came clean off. This is my only complaint about this product, the wiring and overall feel does not feel sturdy or reliable. Now, onto why I've kept going back to these headphones. In an attempt to replace these headphones, I abused best buy's return policy and tried EVERY, SINGLE pair of headphones they carried. Not one, came close to the sound quality or ability to stay in your ear. Those two are very closely related; if they don't provide and maintain a seal, the sound quality will suffer. I have never had the need to readjust the positioning of these headphones once in my ear. To summarize, these are in my opinion, the best sounding, best fitting in-ear, wired headphones. With proper care, I would estimate the average life of these headphones between 12-18 months. So do yourself a favor, and get the Geek Squad protection for about an extra $10.

This is a fantastic headphone - in sound, quality and fit - but, unfortunately, this newest model is no longer compatible with Apple products. :( I first purchased the Monster isport victory earbuds in 2015 - and they were fantastic! Outstanding sound, and great seal around the ear to keep outside noise out. I wore it to work out on the treadmill every day - and it worked flawlessly. Then, a few weeks ago, the remote fell apart (the glue came apart causing the top plate to fall off). When I brought it to Best Buy to glue it back under the extended warranty that I had purchased, they told me they could only replace it. So, I ordered a new one - only to discover the new model is NOT compatible with Apple products. The remote doesn't recognize the iphone and therefore you cannot use the remote to adjust the volume or shuffle tracks. When I called Monster about this, they told me this "new" version is only compatible with Android. This is highly disappointing because it's a really great sounding earphone. Not sure why they discontinued the iphone version - but I"m extremely disappointed. I tried many brands - Bose and Klipsch - among others. And the Monster isport victory was the best sounding and best fitting buds by far. So, I'm hoping Monster will reconsider and resume making ones that are compatible with Apple products again.

I first purchased a pair of these headphones in late 2013. Within about 6 months, the left ear bud went out. I contacted Monster and was told that if I sent proof of purchase, they would replace them for free under the warranty. We went through everything and I had a new pair within several days. Props to Monster for honoring their word and sending me a new pair rather quickly. I thought perhaps with my previous pair I was wrapping up the cord too tightly or getting them too sweaty. I decided my new replacement pair would be going to work with me and would only be used there. I have used the second pair nearly every business day for the last 2 years. Most unfortunately, the right ear bud recently went out on the new pair as well. I contacted Monster in hopes of them helping and was told that the warranty is only for 1 year and that they only replace the product once, so either way I was out of luck. There are two saving characteristics of these headphones that warrant 2 stars instead of just 1. First, is the noise cancelling quality of these headphones. I have to say that they were superb for ensuring that you heard absolutely no outside noise or conversations, even with minimal music level. Second, they were exceptionally comfortable and easy to wear for several hours without even noticing it. I truly wish they had lasted longer just so I could have enjoyed these two qualities longer.
