Monster Musume is not a series for everyone, but fans will want to have a physical copy of the anime series. As of this writing, if fans just want the series with the OVAs, the web shorts, and the other disc extras, the standard version can still be easily bought for under 40 dollars. This version has the same contents, but with a nice NSFW steelcase and redistributed into 2 discs. This does not include the physical extras the limited edition box set from the first releases though. Recommended for collectors only who missed out on the box set, casual fans and fans on a budget should seek out the standard release if it's still available.

I love wacky anime romance comedy shows, and this one rates up there with Tenchi Muyo. The poor protagonist of the show gets injured almost every episode by overly affectionate monster girls (who are stronger than humans), but takes it in stride. He treats the monster girls with respect, and they fall in love with him. Too bad the Japanese government prohibits "relations" between humans and monster girls, so he cannot return their affection and risk being arrested.

Steelbook comes in a protective O ring that is lined with protective film. The extras are minimal but that's to be expected.

You should have a good idea what your getting into with this one. Hilarious harem.

It was good, but my copy lacked the nipple art on the inside cover. Though its not really a big deal as it was marked down.
