There are differences of opinion on whether or not a high-end HDMI cable produces a noticeable image improvement. In my estimation the difference IS clearly visible. I was using a generic HDMI cable for my previous Blu-Ray player. Picture was OK, but not superior. When I connected the Monster ultimate cable the quality of the image was demonstrably better. So, from my perspective, the question is not whether the image will improve, (it will) the decision is whether or not to spend the extra money for that improvement. For me it's a no brainer. Why spend thousands of dollars on a new UHD TV and compromise the picture quality with a $15 cable? It's worth the price... IMHO

Cable is well-made and provides nice picture quality. Speed indicator LEDs are a nice touch. LEDs are bright, so be careful how you orient connection; cable is a bit stiff so plan how you will route it.

Was not getting the reception with my new 4K TV changing to this cord made a noticeable difference. I would recommend upgrading old cables, there is a difference in quality cables. There is a cable that is even rated higher than this one, FYI. This cable works really well! Worth the money and offers a good warranty too.

We have a 4K mounted on our living room wall. When I asked the Best Buy employees for a recommendation on an HDMI cable to go with for our Apple TV, DirecTV box and PS4, this is what he recommended. I was hesitant at first because of sticker shock for a cable. But after buying it and using this, it has blown the other cheaper cables I was using away. Perfect for gaming and 4K shows. Only thing is I bought the 5ft, but I went back and purchased 3 12ft cables for the wall mounted TV for when I need to extend the TV out. Now I have the 5ft in the media room for my PS4.

People knock cables saying they are all the same it not worth buying expensive ones. Well they are wrong. I buy the best quality cable I can afford. And it not about the brand name, it is about the amount of data it transfers. $K is sending alot of info to get your picture and sound to you devices and if the data doesn't get to the device at the same time you loose picture and sound. When you want to see UHD picture you should see every one of the 8 million pixels. Monster isn't the only good cable company, but they do have the best future proof guarantee, that they will replace your cable if it won't handle the amount of data you need.

This HDMI cable makes my connect secure and the picture quality is outstanding compared to normal cables.

I love this cable, cos brings high quality pic for my 4k suhd samsung! Measure your cable box before purchase, I need to return cos to short.

When the sound on my Samsung 4K television wasn't working properly, I went to Best Buy and asked the sales associate if the problem could be caused by the HDMI I was using. I had tried that cable on another TV with the same result. The associate suggested I use a shorter wire & try the Monster cable this time. Wow! What a difference!! Problem solved!!!

Yes this is an expensive cable but the proof is in the Viewing. when playin Xbox one or watching Bluray or anything HD or UHD this cable is amazing for the most clearest picture the darkest black and amazing sound .. it just is. Paired with Our 50" Vizio 4K and it is viewing heaven

These are HDMI great cables and worth the extra money. I have used these cables over and over and have not experience any issues with them. I recommend these cables and as a suggestion I also recommend buying a cable that will handle more than your current needs. That way as your need for additional bandwith grows you are ready for it.

The Monster Black Platinum HDMI cable gives the picture on My Samsung model UN40JU7100 4K TV the Best quality picture. The LED lights on the cable are kind of cool. The cable is also Very Very well built. I am planning to purchase some more of these for the rest of My electronics as soon as possible. The Black Platinum cables are the only ones to use !

Anyone who tells you all hdmi cables are the same is not your friend. Last hdmi cable you ever have to buy. Worth the shillings.

HDMI cables are vary painful. They cost a lot and the first ones all had defects. These, like all past monster hdmi cables, are to stiff and have little movement around the ends. That said, the 4K cables have cleared up my TVs enough that when people visit they always comment on the picture of a somewhat standard non-4k LG TV. Have not personally tried any other brand HDMI in 4k but these are worth the cost for added clarity.

This HDMI is very well built so it it is very sturdy and has an led that shows you what kind of signal is being used from the source I checked and switched formats and the led switched like it was said to do. The picture is very crisp as well as the audio. The color reproduction is better than my previous HDMI cable.

You cant go wrong with Monster products. They are the best in the industry. They say what they do and they do what they say. My picture quality has never looked better. The clarity and life-like pictures says it all. I only use Monster cables in all my electronics. You wont be disappointed.

Some people won't spend the price for these cables but they are missing out. Hook up a PS4 or any other gaming system to your TV with a cheap cable then hook it up using a Monster such as this one and you will see a huge difference. I'm very happy with the picture and the quality.

Sometimes you get what you paid for. As people tell you that the line that improves on the quality of video and audio. They are not lying. I take the approach to test out what they claim and do find this HDMI line does improve on my video quality. Less blocks and motion blur compare to my other lines that claims to be fast. Rated around 21 MB/s but this line rated 28 MB/s does a better job at doing the job of transferring the data faster. I would say different bluray player and different TV would have different quality output. Keep that in mind but do try it and see for yourself. Recommended.

I purchased this cable to use with a new HD 4K Sony TV. The quality of the cable was great. It was well made and heavy. It was exspensive but should last many years. Because of the thickness I believe that it helps deliver the best picture possible. It's worth buying.
