I liked the indicator lights, along with the USB ports. Monster makes some good products

I bought this protector in conjunction with a 55" Samsung 4K TV and the bose solo 15 system. I have a previous model of monster protector (HDP 1800) and this one is advertised as no different. I can't comment on the clean power aspect or effects of lowering distortion but it is a proven technology worth the extra money in my mind for those who spent a good amount of money on their television systems.

It's a great gadget. You must have it to protect all your electronic devices.

Working just like it is supposed to for a surge protector. Very pleased.

I have bought Monster products in the past. For my last TV A/V system, about 8 years ago, this same type of product (from Monster) was larger, bulkier, but "felt" more professional if you get what I mean. It seemed constructed of metal. The reviewed product is smaller, lighter, made of plastic, and just feels flimsy, but it seems to be doing a very fine job. No complaints whatsoever. I guess thats technology for you, I do appreciate the smaller footprint, I wonder if anyone ever really used the "insurance protection" these products promise?

Glad we purchased this as TV was expensive and worth having as protection. Good size fits many plugs--both grounded and two prong

I like the fireproof MOV feature, I work as a first responder and have seen my fare share of house fires so it is a nice confidence booster to have it. I haven't had a surge yet to see how it works, but I hope I never will. I tried to contact monster and see if the ethernet over power feature was also surge protected but never received an answer so I am not using it right now but I initially hooked it up and can confirm that it does work.

This thing has my 65" Samsung Curved 8700 series protected to the fullest. Fortunately, I've never had to see it in action but if something would happen I'm covered. Awesome Product...Worth the $$

We had a few year old model of this unit and had a huge electrical surge when some work was being done at our house and the unit blew, complete with smell and light smoke -- but all the electronic devices plugged into it (large screen TV, etc.) seemed fine, and when we bought this new replacement unit and plugged everything in, they all worked perfectly. Some other electronics in the house were fried. THANK YOU!

I tried using a WIFI extender to connect my new Sony XBR75X850D UHDTV to the internet, but it was too slow to stream 4K video. A Blue Shirt recommended this unit for both it's power conditioning and the Ethernet extender. It only took a few minutes to set up and now I have a fast enough internet connection to stream 4K.

Just got this unit to replace another Monster Power surge protector strip. House was struck by lightening and fried several appliances, except for the ones plugged into the Monster Strip. Ut worked like a charm and saved me Thousands. If you love your electronics, spend a few extra bucks and protect them well.

I have the same surge protector but in 12 slots as opposed to 6. I use the powerline adaptor on the 12 slots and on the six slot one and everything works. I plugged in a CAT-5 cable into the six slot one and I was able to get on the net. I would recommend this unit to a friend.

I was looking for a surge protector for my new android 4K TV I purchased at Best Buy. This one came highly recommended. I live in an older neighborhood that experiences frequent power outages and fluctuations. I feel secure with this surge protector on the job.

Having already purchased the larger model it was no problem picking this for a smaller second video location. Same great noise filtering, surge protection and fire resistant design. The cat5 hook-up works great and very benificial for some situations.
