I have always purchased Applecare for any Apple that I buy. The fact that Applecare automatically comes with my Total Tech Membership is a real bonus.

It cover damage on the IPad but doesn’t cover stolen or lost on the IPad but only on the IPhone. If you are going to offer insurance coverage it should be full coverage.
