I’ve had the protection plan for many years, making replacement of this product beats replacing the entire service of attending any device appointment.

I've been homeless for quite some time but now that I have my own apartment this past couple weeks I was sick and I brought my laptop in my bedroom and I accidentally spilled my soup on it and I went to Best buy and ask them for help and if I didn't have coverage I wouldn't know what to do I am very grateful that they've tried very hard to fix my laptop but now I'm being refunded to get another one I couldn't be more grateful and ready to learn the new one

As someone who's not exactly tech-savvy, I was hesitant about spending extra money on Best Buy's protection program when I bought my new laptop. But let me tell you, it's been worth every penny! Extended Coverage Beyond the Manufacturer's Warranty The manufacturer's warranty on my laptop only lasted a year, which flew by faster than I expected. Thankfully, Best Buy's protection plan kicked in right after that expired. Here are a couple of examples of how it saved me: Battery Replacement: About 18 months after I bought my laptop, the battery started dying super quickly. I was worried I'd have to buy a whole new computer! But nope - I took it to Best Buy, and they replaced the battery for free under the protection plan. What a relief! Keyboard Malfunction: Just over two years into owning my laptop, some of the keys stopped working. Again, Best Buy came to the rescue. They repaired the keyboard at no extra cost to me. I would've been lost without this coverage! Awesome Customer Service Every time I've had to use the protection plan, the folks at Best Buy have been super helpful. They explain things in a way that even I can understand, and they never make me feel dumb for asking questions. Peace of Mind Knowing that I'm covered for several years beyond the manufacturer's warranty gives me such peace of mind. I don't have to worry about sudden repair costs or being without my computer for long periods. Value for Money While it seemed like a bit of an expense upfront, this protection plan has more than paid for itself. Between the repairs and the stress it's saved me, I'd say it's been a great investment. If you're like me and not super confident with technology, I highly recommend getting Best Buy's protection program. It's like having a tech-savvy friend always ready to help you out!

It is well worth getting the protection plan for large item purchases. Small ones not so much but, for large expense items: TVs, computers, printers, security equipment, laptops, monitors, etc.

Amazing device let down by heat. This is a stunning and premium looking and feeling device with exceptional build quality, stunning OLED screen, plenty of ports, great keyboard, amazing speakers, and good battery life. It also is one of the few clamshell laptops which supports touch AND pen. Fan noise is very low, silent in normal use and just a slight whisper when stressed. Minor complaints include the trackpad, which is not haptic and tends to activate the brightness controls. The OLED is a bit more grainy than i expected at this resolution and it isnt the brightest either. Still very good, but not best in class. The big downside is HEAT. The bottom becomes very hot under even medium loads, as does the top panel above the keyboard. Using this on a lap quickly becomes uncomfortable. Its also expensive, even on sale.

I usually don’t but the protection program because I’ve always thought it was a huge scam and I’d never use it. Well I’ve completely changed my mind. I locked myself out of one of my I-phones and could not get in to anything. The geek squad has it fixed and unlocked within the hour at no additional cost to me.

Great TV with amazing picture quality and sound. Lots of features and good compatibility. The only issue is the voice control is not up to standard, it needs an upgrade badly.

It's always a good idea to protect your high end electronics these days. Haven't used it yet, and I hope I don't need it, but the coverage it very comprehensive.

I am giving this laptop a great rating due to it's ease of use and Best Buy's Geek Squad's attention when the hard drive went out. It was less than a year, but everything worked out. Best Buy had me up and running within 24 hours. Needed immediate help, due to being a business owner. They've always helped me immediately without frustration! You've got to appreciate that!!
