As someone who's not exactly tech-savvy, I was hesitant about spending extra money on Best Buy's protection program when I bought my new laptop. But let me tell you, it's been worth every penny! Extended Coverage Beyond the Manufacturer's Warranty The manufacturer's warranty on my laptop only lasted a year, which flew by faster than I expected. Thankfully, Best Buy's protection plan kicked in right after that expired. Here are a couple of examples of how it saved me: Battery Replacement: About 18 months after I bought my laptop, the battery started dying super quickly. I was worried I'd have to buy a whole new computer! But nope - I took it to Best Buy, and they replaced the battery for free under the protection plan. What a relief! Keyboard Malfunction: Just over two years into owning my laptop, some of the keys stopped working. Again, Best Buy came to the rescue. They repaired the keyboard at no extra cost to me. I would've been lost without this coverage! Awesome Customer Service Every time I've had to use the protection plan, the folks at Best Buy have been super helpful. They explain things in a way that even I can understand, and they never make me feel dumb for asking questions. Peace of Mind Knowing that I'm covered for several years beyond the manufacturer's warranty gives me such peace of mind. I don't have to worry about sudden repair costs or being without my computer for long periods. Value for Money While it seemed like a bit of an expense upfront, this protection plan has more than paid for itself. Between the repairs and the stress it's saved me, I'd say it's been a great investment. If you're like me and not super confident with technology, I highly recommend getting Best Buy's protection program. It's like having a tech-savvy friend always ready to help you out!

The multiuse on this laptop is top tier! You can use it as a regular laptop or as a tablet with the pen, also touchscreen.

Pay for protection plans it's really good, everything when I have an issue it's easy go to the store and get a solution.

haven’t needed to use my Best Buy Protection Plan yet, but I love having it for the extra security. It feels great knowing that if anything happens, I’m covered and won’t have to worry. Totally worth adding to any major purchase!

I am giving this laptop a great rating due to it's ease of use and Best Buy's Geek Squad's attention when the hard drive went out. It was less than a year, but everything worked out. Best Buy had me up and running within 24 hours. Needed immediate help, due to being a business owner. They've always helped me immediately without frustration! You've got to appreciate that!!

Hassle-free to use. If you need it, 5-stars... if you don't, 1 or 2, right? A great value-add to the Total Member program.

I love the Best Buy Protection. I default to Best Buy whenever I could purchase items from other sources also due to the protection.

Purchased with the intent of conveniently playing keyboard and mouse games while not at home, and it exceeded expectation performance wise. Its a good value for its price, at the time i bought it anyway. The only drawback is that i wish the battery life was better, you will more than likely spend the most of your time near an outlet with this laptop.

The geeks are very good at helping sync all your electronics & helping take the "dread" out of preserving old files.

Geek Squad has been my savior a couple of times, first on my old laptop with a blue screen and now with transfer of old data to my new laptop. Who could ask for better service than a less than 24 hour turn around and always, always such great customer service attitude and professionalism.

This protection has saved me lots in repairs. Had a $1500 laptop take a crap on me 6 weeks after I got it. Simply returned it and got a new one.

Best Buy protection is great for your electronics and tv’s covers almost everything

Great service! Gave me great advice on purchasing an extended warranty and replacing my surge protector strip. I went to Best Buy after their installation and purchased a new surge protector strip and the extended warranty. they were very professional and seemed to have my interests at heart.

This was definitely worth the money! Many of our laptops decided to breakdownbut I was able to find a few great deals on new ones. The protection has helped with set up, and fixes on a couple laptops.
