Bought for the wife to read books. She loves it better than her tablet becasue it is easier ont he eyes. Light enough for her to take both when traveling.

I purchased this for my wife because she started reading a lot of books and was purchasing physical copies from the book store, which can get expensive really fast. Using the Kindle for digital copies is far better on cost and because she often reads at night, i dont have to deal with an incredibly bright book light that keeps me up. The backlight on this isnperfect for her to read and i hardly notice it. Since purchasing the Kindle my wife has already read more books this past few months than she ever has in a single year.
