Glad to have the protection i may need for such a small amount to guarantee perfection

Total Tech is the best purchase I made at Best Buy. I spent $200 for this tech ? geek squad system and it is the best $200 I have ever spent. Not only have I saved around $1400 on purchases and installation savings but I have received top of the line technical support on the installation of my $8000 tv and surround system. Matt has been near perfection and the support that he and other Best Buy employees have given me through this process has given me a whole new perspective on Best Buy as a company. this whole process has been painless and people have bent over backwards to help me. The group that I have worked with are truly outstanding. I honestly don't know how Best Buy makes any money on this Total Tech system. It is so much more than what I expected!!!!

Having the Geek squad gives me peace of mind and has helped with my daughter’s iphone.

The current Total Tech program has been amazing! Sad to see it go as the new options made it ineffective for my needs. I bought my entire kitchen suite with the membership and all my installs were free so it pretty much covered the cost of the plan. Since then (because i made the pooor choice of choosing Samsung) they have sent out techs at no cost for multiple issues. Their techs have been amazing by the way! With the new plan installations are not covered and repairs are only 20% off. I was planning to renew, but old TT memberships are not being honored/grandfathered in when the new memberships start this month so I canceled. Would not recommend based on new plans unfortunately.

Best Buy is always looking out for there customers I will never go anywhere else they have an amazing protection plan I would 100% recommend it and get the yearly membership especially if you buy products often from Best Buy you won’t regret it!!

Best Buy Protection plan for 24 months is great as I buy a lot from Best Buy and it covers everything.

I’m impressed with this service. Sometimes we cannot control all of the factors when we order an appliance. Best Buy‘s Customer Care did an excellent job in correcting a poor experience.

I always put protection on all my purchases. Never know when you might need it.

It is an excellent opportunity to protect your products. I had it for two years and during that time I did not have any failures in my equipment. But after not renewing, one of my devices was damaged and I could not have the benefit. Do not let your protection expire.

In September 2024, I purchased an entire Thor kitchen appliance package—including a refrigerator, range top, range hood, oven, and microwave—from Pacific Sales Kitchen & Home in San Dimas, California (a division of Best Buy). All appliances were installed and fully operational by November 2024. At the time of purchase, I was strongly encouraged to sign up for the Total Best Buy Membership because I was told it would provide warranty coverage for all my products. However, in October 2025—just over a year after installation—my refrigerator stopped working. When I contacted Pacific Sales to use the warranty I was sold, I was informed that I could *not* use the Best Buy warranty because the refrigerator was still under the manufacturer’s warranty. I was also told that I would not be able to use the Best Buy warranty until the manufacturer’s 2-year period expires, even though Best Buy only provides a total of 2 years of coverage. This makes no sense and leaves me effectively without the protection I was promised at the time of sale. I then contacted Thor for service, but they have been unable to locate the necessary replacement part. As of today, December 10, 2025, I have been without a working refrigerator since October. There is still no estimated timeframe for repair, and I am now being forced to consider purchasing a new refrigerator out of pocket. This situation is unacceptable. I paid for a full kitchen package and an extended warranty membership, yet I have been left without a functioning refrigerator for months, with no resolution in sight. I am seeking assistance from the BBB to help resolve this issue promptly.

I’m sure this will come a handy eventually. Nice to know we have this coverage in case something goes wrong.

While the member is a little expensive ... its worth it. We luve in an age where mass production produces inferior products. Nice to be able to return things when they break and get them swapped out.

I replaced all appliances in my kitchen from the BUILDERS GRADE in my new home. ABSOLUTELY love them all. QUIET dishwasher. Love the glass on my Frig!

Not really sure how I could be anything but satisfied with a FREE protection plan. I read through the contract-y stuff and I get 2 claims a year (service fee applies - sounded like to cover the transportation/pickup/delivery part of any claims). Honesty, for being a perk of MTR membership, this is absolutely fantastic - especially, when you take advantage of itnfor bigger purchases - like appliances!

Great value, it takes the worry out of any purchase.

Love having this in case something goes wrong, haven't had a chance to use it.
