Is ot the worst camera? No. Is it the best camera? No. Its fairly user friendly. The lens that i got with it is definitely not made for full room photos or long distance quality range. Its more of a beginners camera if anything. Would not recommend.

I broke my Bose Sound Touch 30 speaker (which is a beast master to say at the least) - I found out Best Buy was no longer carrying this product but offered me the Bose Smart Speaker 500. I have a Bose Smart Speaker 500 and was appalled that Best Buy would even offer me that as the replacement. There's ABSOLUTELY no comparison between these speakers - apples and oranges . I opted to keep the speak and it LUCKILY started working out the blue again. I was disappointed by Best Buy's lack of customer service and understanding in regards to this situation. It was clear they were in the wrong, and they offered no rational substitutes to replace the speaker. I've been shopping with Best Buy for decades and am a loyal customer, however this one really left a sour taste in my mouth.

Went in to see why I was having sensor problems and they would not look at due to total tech support being canceled. I purchased my camera with the Best Buy card and support was included up to 24 Months. They still would not service it.

    The Sony 50-150mm f2 is a Workhorse!

After a few shoots with the Sony 50-150mm f2, I can already say this lens fits the way I work better than almost anything I have owned. I use it primarily for editorial photography and portraits, and the combination of reach, flexibility, and that constant f2 aperture gives me a look I did not expect. At 150mm f2 the rendering is so clean and so smooth that it is almost indistinguishable from the Sigma 135mm f1.4, which honestly surprised me. The fact that a zoom at f2 can match a legendary prime at f1.4 is mind blowing. Even though the lens is on the heavier side, I do not find it too heavy in practice. I use it on my Sony A7R5 right now and it balances well. I expect to be using it on the Sony A9 III soon and I am looking forward to seeing how it performs at 120 frames per second. The A9 III paired with this lens has the potential to become one of my main setups for fast editorial motion and environmental portrait work. Most of my work is done with two lenses on location. I pair this 50-150mm f2 with the Sony 28-70mm f2, and even though both lenses are fairly hefty, my bag is actually lighter now. One lens stays on the body and one goes in the bag, which keeps the load simple and more manageable than the scattered mix of primes and zooms I used to carry. The f2 aperture is another reason I appreciate this lens. People talk a lot about shooting at f1.2, f1.4, and f1.8, and those apertures are beautiful, but they only really work when you have a single subject and you do not mind only getting one eye in focus when they turn their head. In real sessions, when you are working with two or more people, f2 is still very shallow and often too shallow if they are not standing on the exact same plane. So f2 is a perfect middle ground that keeps my portraits sharp where they need to be and still gives me the depth I want. My final decision came down to this lens or the new Sigma 135mm f1.4. The Sigma is incredible, but the 105mm filter size was a real concern. This Sony uses a 95mm filter thread, which is already expensive, but the jump to 105mm takes filter costs into a different category entirely. If you want a high-quality ND, a polarizer, and even a couple of mist filters, the cost difference between 95mm and 105mm becomes significant. When you factor in real-world expenses, the 50-150mm f2 ends up offering much better value. Even at around four thousand dollars, this lens has already proven itself worth every penny. It gives me flexibility, performance, and image quality that fits the way I shoot, and it simplifies my entire kit. For anyone who shoots editorial work, portraits, or needs a fast and reliable telephoto zoom with a look that can stand next to top-end primes, this lens is one of the best investments you can make.

I added the Best Buy Protection plan to a pretty expensive tech purchase and honestly it gave me some peace of mind. The coverage terms were easy to understand and the monthly option made it feel less painful than paying a big lump sum upfront. I like that it covers accidental damage and not just manufacturer defects, especially since I tend to throw my gear in a bag and go. Filing a claim was straightforward through my account and the turnaround time was decent. That said, it does add up over time if you keep it the full term, so you really have to decide if the item is worth insuring. For lower cost stuff I probably would skip it, but for pricier electronics it feels like a reasonable safety net.

    My Go-To APS-C Zoom: Sony 16–55mm f/2.8 G Review

I’ve been really impressed with the **Sony E 16–55mm F2.8 G**. It’s become my go-to lens for just about everything I shoot on Sony APS-C. The image quality is excellent—sharp across the frame, even wide open at f/2.8, with great color and contrast straight out of the camera. The zoom range is super practical, whether I’m shooting landscapes, street photos, or portraits, and I rarely feel limited. Autofocus is fast, accurate, and quiet, which makes it great for both photos and video. The constant f/2.8 aperture is a big win, especially in low light or when zooming during video without exposure changes. It feels solid and well built without being too heavy, and it balances nicely on smaller Sony bodies. I also appreciate the aperture ring and weather sealing—it just feels like a premium, well-thought-out lens. It’s definitely not cheap, but in my experience, the performance justifies the price. If you want one high-quality, all-purpose zoom for Sony APS-C, this lens is absolutely worth it.

Excellent service and help finding this lense for my significant other, they helped me find a telephoto magnifier that is comparable with my camera and deterred me away from one that was not comparable. All in all the Best Buy staff is kind, knowledgeable, and service oriented.

I’m really happy I added the Best Buy Protection Plan to my purchase. It gives me peace of mind knowing that if anything happens, I’m fully covered. The activation was simple, the coverage is clear, and customer support is easy to reach. It’s definitely worth it for protecting my electronics, especially the more expensive items. I feel much more confident using my device every day because I know I’m backed by Best Buy.

Went in to get my computer fixed and found that it would be more cost-effective to buy the program which would cover the cost of the repair mostly. Since I bought it, I ended up buying lens for my camera that I ended up not really liking which on this program, I am able to return products 60 days after purchase which came in very handy with this purchase. So I ended up returning the lens and only had to pay a restocking fee.
