I will never ever purchase geek squad. I anyone i know i will talk them out of it to. It has been a nightmare... so i brought my phone into Moreno valley, CA. Location. My phone was taken from me for repair. Than i got a email from geek squad to pick a date and come get it. So i did. But the part was i had the different emails with three claim confirmation numbers. When i got to store no phone anywhere. No record. I showed them emails and everything. Than some kid who is telling from the lost prevention team told me and i quote, go p*** off. I saw our employee hand you your phone. Than leave with it. And i don't care if you got a email with a conformation number. Leave my store at once. Than guess how my call to geek squad went. A foreign person who's English I'd terrible and i couldn't understand. Bye bye note 20 5g ultra.

I prefer BB insurance plan over providers. If phone can't be repaired, they'll get you a new phone; not a "refurbished" like the carriers do. And it's cheaper

its fine and dandy for what we need it for. especially for teens

Have used this service in the past with home installation. Also replaced broken glass protector because of warranty.

I could not sleep well at night knowing that my new, not to mention, very expensive phone is not insured. I would have made my life extremely difficult.....

Best protection plans in geek squad and fast and best customer satisfaction

Purchased a 2 year protection plan with my Samsung Galaxy S10 phone for $181. Went to Geek Squad in Paramus to get a cracked screen fixed under warranty. They told me they don't actually change the glass or service Samsung phones, just send you a replacement phone & you send the old phone back to them. Great! Problem is there is a $199. charge....So to get them to honor the $181 plan I purchased, I have to give them another $199...Spoke to several employees & an Supervisor at Geek Squad. They understood my frustration but would do nothing. Have had Geek Squad plans on refrigerators, TV's but this one will be my last. Last purchase at Best Buy too. According to the supervisor, the salesman should have explained this to me.

GOT THE 2 YEAR PLAN, VERY ECONOMICAL COMPAIRED TO MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN. PHONE IS A BIG INVESTMENT AND ACCIDENTS CAN HAPPEN SO IT MADE SINCE TO PROTECT IT.

I had bad & good experience with geek squad but I can tell you with trouble I had they made sure to take care of me
