I always get the Geek Squad protection which is better than the service provider's insurance because G.S. replaces with a new phone if necessary.

I continued my insurance through Best Buy on my new phone. They replaced a battery on my old phone for free. I haven't had any issues with this service.

I highly suggest you purchase this plan for any item. Specifically for cell phones, as the carriers want outrageous fees and replacement costs.

Cost The same as the big cell phone companies with half the deductible. No refurbished phones here gets replaced with a Brand-new phone .

The geek squad have been and are very helpfull. Everytime I need with a device they are on it.

Had a problem with my phone and had to use my Geek Squad protection. Took 2.5 and I was told to go home and call an 800 number. When I got home and called it they told me to go back to the store...the store should have given me a new phone, as it was less than 2 months old. Felt I got the runaround at the store. But when I went back it was resolved quickly.
