A must buy for M-B fans, & demo quality disc

A quick look at the track listing reveals that this Bluray includes most of M-B's greatest hits, which should be more than enough to please casual fans. But, in addition, the video transfer of this performance makes this BR one of the best high definition discs I own. A good example is the last cut Question, where the wonderfully saturated, accurate colors and increadible sharpness of the image give this disc an almost 3-D quality. So those with high quality flat panel displays or front projectors will want to purchase this disc as demo material - even if they are not appreciative of the music. Even more, the fantastic quality of the Dolby Digital and True HD sound tracks push this disc over the top, making it a must buy. Lastly, I realize that I have been focusing on the technical aspects of the disc, so let me also report that the bands' performance is without fault.

Excellent HD Concert! One of the Best Available!

I already own the DVD copy of Moody Blues live at the Royal Albert Hall. I'm glad I went ahead and bought this title. I wish that this performance had the orchestra behind it, but alas the sound was STILL FANTASTIC! The sound selctions were great, the editing was nice (not frenzied MTV-style). The technical factors of this BD were excellent. Hi Def, Lossless track allowed vocals to remain clear at all times. I highly recommend this title even if you have previous concerts on DVD.

Best sound and video quality available

I completely agree with the first reviewer. The quality of the sound and video is unsurpassed. The sampling of the Moody Blues music is satisfactory to even the most ardent fans. My only complaint is with the film editor. He doesn't stay on the guitars long enough to really appreciate their brilliant talent. The editing is still far better than most.
