I just watched this movie the other day, and I was blown away. Gackt Camui (Sho) and Hideto "Hyde" Takarai (Kei) are well known Japanese Rock singers, so I had pretty much expected the movie to be something just the fans could enjoy. I was way off. The movie has action, drama, vampires, themes of friendship, and more. There were moments when I was excited, laughing, and even crying. I feel this is a movie that can appeal to people of all different tastes. If my review doesn't convince you that this movie is worth seeing, see it anyway and try to prove me wrong.
I leave you with this, a lyric from the movie's theme song, Orenji no Taiyou (The Orange Sun), which I feel sums up the entire movie.
"All the joys and sadness, the countless encounters and partings, just as it did back then, the orange sun oversees them all." - written and performed by Gackt & Hyde

I loved this movie. It pretty much had it all... action, friendship, comedy, and even a tad bit of romance. I didn't know much about Hyde watching this movie, and now I'm sorry I didn't. He was fantastic and really made you connect with his character.
Who doesn't know who Gackt is now a days:) He proved that not only is he a wonderful music artist, but he can act as well. He has become one of my favorite artists, and I cannot wait to see more from him.
From beginning to end, this movie captures your attention... and it's a movie for everyone. Vampires for horror fans, gun fights for action fans, comedy for... well... comedy fans. You will love this movie.

of course fans of Gackt and Hyde will want it, but regardless its worth watching if you like Asian films. the gunfights alone make it worth the purchase! uber cool that they are mm hmm and pretty unique in the execution. also the little humorous bits tucked into the middle of them will have you cracking up even as you wipe a tear from the last emotional bit.
