You don’t often see coming out stories presented over such a along timeline, especially about inner-city youth. All the actors did an incredible job presenting a touching and moving story.

It was very important for this movie to win best picture. A masterpiece. If you love Wong Kar Wai movies, then you will love Moonlight. A great story that is uncommon in today's movies. It delves into a world that isn't familiar.

This is an extraordinary movie -- one of the best in years. Clearly a very personal project for Barry Jenkins and Tarrell Alvin-McCraney. And the Blu-Ray is a great transfer that preserves the film's strong visual storytelling.

This is a good movie dealing with real world day to day situations. This is a movie that will have you thinking about just what is important to you. This is a movie worth adding to ones movie collection.

I was really interested in seeing this movie bout honestly I could've ordered it because it was slightly boring. It's a coming of age film about a gay male transitioning through various stages of life trying to understand his sexuality....while the story is that of so many black males in the urban communities, the story wasnt as attention gasping as I wished it would've been, but I do understand the oscar for best picture & the accolades that they received.

A movie about life - the life of other. A movie about perseverance, about being lost then found, a movie about finding hope in desperate situations. Totally a must see and one to think about long after the credits roll.

Moonlight is a film about overcoming adversity and, despite being a product of the environment, find out who you want to become. Identity takes time to discover itself, and that is something that anyone can relate to.

Personally, I think they had it right the first time. I enjoyed La La land more, but this film is good in its own rights. It provides a far different narrative than one would expect, and it pays off

I never checked out previews, and wasn't really looking into the movie. So it was a great surprise how good this movie really is. Go into the movie with no thoughts, and prejudices and I'm sure you'll like it as well.

Everything about this movie is excellent from the script to the acting to the scenes to the emotional story of 1 man struggles thru life. This won the best picture Oscar for a reason. Definitely check this film out.

Acting was superb! Storyline about a young black boy who is raised in the the poor part of town with a drug addicted mother.

Was surprised how great this film really was. well acted. Blu ray is a little light on features and picture and sound are ok but the story more than makes up for the shortcomings of the disc. highly recommended.

This movie was disturbing for me, but, I forced myself to see it through. I was at first shocked because I had no previous knowledge about the subject as it related to the title. However, I would rate it A+..

Incredible! My understanding is Moonlight was completed on a budget of about $1.5m. Priceless. **BRAVO** to Barry Jenkins, Tarell Alvin McCraney, et. al. for consummate artistry --and profound relevance.

Not so sure it deserved BEST PICTURE. My favorite would still be FENCES out of them all. But a very good depiction of yet another sad reality of life. Especially life as a black youth/man.

I clearly see why Mahershala Ali won an Oscar for his performance in this amazing film. Really good performances by unknown faces and 'tis always good to see Janelle Monae. She was also good. Check it out.

The acting was good but there were times when the story bounced back & forth that it got confusing. I just think there were better movies that deserved to win much more than this one.

A very disturbing film about growing up black and gay in Miami. Mahershala Ali deserves the win and Naomi Harris another win. Miami properly filmed certainly looks good. Will have to watch movie again.
