Another metrovania to my collection

Moonscars: Great 2D Pixel Metroidvania Souls-like

Many of the notable features and mechanics fans will appreciate and enjoy from earlier predecessors.

Good for metrodvania/roguelike games fans

I didnt leave a 5 star due to it feeling a little repetitive. However, this game has some roguelike features so I guess its intended to be that way.

Moonscars Review

It’s turned into one of my favorite games to date, the pixelated artwork is so nostalgic for me. The farther you get into the game the harder it becomes, and the constant change of enemies really keeps you on your toes.

Good , but Darksoulsmetroidvania genre is getting

I was happy to find an instruction book, which should be in all games..especially in ones which are $70 I love sprite base side scrolling action. The Darksoulsmetroidvania is getting old. Everything seems overpowered and cheap hits abound. The parry system isnt great either. you can see it coming with an icon over the enemy but even then the detection is way off resulting in cheap deaths. I'll play it every now and again. Still, seems like a great addition to an over saturated genre
