As a frequent traveler, I needed something to help charge my mobile devices. This mobile charger as advertised states it has the ability to charge your iPad...well, if 10-15% for an iPad mini is charged then I would agree. When charging your cell phone, it works great for iPhone 5 but not so good for Samsung Galaxy S3. When I plugged in my S3, I had it connected for over an hour and it only charged the phone by 10%; iPhone was fully charged in 40 mins. TL;DL: Great for iPhone, not so good for iPad and Samsung S3, needs to be cheaper or updated.

Anybody who has a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet knows that heavy use can drain the battery before the end of the day. This convenient pack solves that problem with ease.

I read the reviews of similar Mophie products and decided it was worth the chance, despite the negative reviews. Unbelievably, it appears I purchased two defective devices in a row. First device wouldn't charge after 9 hours. I thought I had just picked a lemon and exchanged it for another. Second device appeared to charge (it took over 18 hours), but its first use only recharged my iPad battery no more than 20%. After contacting Mophie customer service and discussing with them what occurred with both devices, they agreed I hadn't misused them and they were both defective. I realize it may have been underpowered to charge my devices, but they are advertised specifically for Apple devices. I will return the second device and purchase something else.
