This charger is soo much better.. It's bigger, but that just means it's more powerful. It's not too big though. For the price as a deal of the day, it was too good to pass up, plus it has excellent reviews. You won't regret this purchase. I wish I had bought one as a Christmas gift (even though Christmas is 10 months away).

Probably too big for a pocket but fits fine in a bag or purse. It can easily charge our cell phones (iPhone or Galaxy) 3 times before it needs recharged. We have also used it to charge our iPad. It can do that once before needing plugged in.
