Posted .Hello lovebugsgma, My name is Elise Murray and I work in the customer service department here at mophie. I just wanted to clear up how our product works a little bit for you. In our manual there is a mention of a "three month rule". This does not mean that you will not need to recharge the device for three months, rather, we are simply suggesting that if you do not use the device for the three months, it is a good idea to recharge the mophie to recondition the battery. You will need to recharge the mophie after about one to one and half recharges of your mobile device. The size of the battery in the mophie as compared to the size of the very large battery in a device like an iPad, would not support a great deal of charge. It sounds like you are getting the correct amount of charge out of your powerstation. If you do, however, think your device may be faulty, you can certainly take advantage of our one year warranty by heading to mophie.com/TS and filling out a support ticket. One of our helpful representatives would be more than happy to move you forward with a warranty claim just as long as you can provide us with proof of purchase within the last year. This extra battery charger would never charge my phone more than 5%. Really upset bc I missed out on a lot of pictures. Maybe something is wrong w my phone?

You should certainly have gotten more charge than just 5%, though the exact amount of charge will depend on the device your are charging. If you are currently using the powerstation with a compatible device, and not getting the results you expected, we can replace it free of charge through our one year warranty. However, I charged the Mophie Powerstation fully and when my phone was at 1% I plugged it into it. The Mophie died after charging my phone only 50%. I expected at least a full charge since the packaging said it would give me a full charge and then some. I returned the product.

The initial one did not work and was defective. I took it back and Best Buy exchanged it without any issues. Very handy and I've always like mophie products.
