The devices came with cables but they were very short. I needed something long enough to allow me to place the device on a shelf or a table. This cable did the job.

The cord works

I thought I may have caused the damage of the tip breaking off, but when it happened again I knew it was the quality of craftsmanship. It may be due to the dual plug in adapter that allows different types of phones to be charged. However the plug adapter is loose and fragile.
