This movie is ok, no where as good as the original. American Graffiti is an all time classic, a must see. This falls short of the Original. Although it had a couple of good nostalgia drag racing scenes it just isn't as good as the first.

Not sure why this studio struggles with older movies but this one is very cheap and if they restored it it didn't really show. They have all these great movies but don't try to make the blu-ray very good like other studios like Sony. These should cost $5 not $20+

My dad loves this movie. It's a classic for the Boomer generation.

Probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen. Even their choice of background music was bad.

Guess you had to be there: All the personal transitions we Baby Boomers faced are fully articulated in this follow up. That Terry transitions from a John Wayne/gung-ho army inductee to disillusioned AWOL; the oft-cut junk yard scene from the original film (which could have been a PSA) where John Milner laments dangerous driving predicting his death; Laurie sucked into the Women's Movement; and the silliness of hippies...Each character is recognizable as their lives reverse or deflected into unforeseen tangents. This was my life and those of my family and friends.
