This is easily one of the top five best anime series ever written. Moribito is filled with excitement, emotion, well defined characters, and a unique story. You'll stay hooked into the story line without any feelings of repetitive-ness (which a lot of anime seem to thrive on these days). This is not your DBZ or BLEACH type anime. So, despite the well placed and well proportioned action sequences don't be expecting any fireball blasts shooting out of the swords and spears when the blades clash. This is a solid story line with a beginning-middle-end and a lot of good twists and turns. So, if this sounds like the type of anime you'd enjoy, then I highly recommend it.

This is one of my favorite series. It's based on a series of novels instead of the usual manga that inspire anime these days. You can definitely tell as there is a good deal more character development and story complexity than you'll find in standard fare. The fantasy world is well developed to the point where there are distinct cultures in the various countries explored throughout the series. I highly recommend this one.

Got this while it was on sale for $9.99. Great price for an anime that honestly has been underappreciated. Would immediately recommend if you liked other titles such as Rurouni Kenshin or Sword of the Stranger.

If you haven't seen Ghost in the Shell anime, then you will like/love this. This is produce from the same company that brought us Ghost in the shell, yet with the anime style is very different than most older animes. Loving this will bring something new to your anime collection.

This is a stellar anime title with a strong, female protagonist and great battles and visuals. Highly recommended!

This anime aired on Adult Swim a few years ago, it is nice to have it in physical form.
