Granted I have not seen this movie in years, but I remember enjoying it very much when it came out in theaters. Whether it stands the test of time (which I do not have high hopes) is another story.

This movie is over the top fighting action with lots of special effects. It has most of the original Mortal Kombat characters represented. Such as Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Subzero, and more. The humor is kind of goofy but it works for a Mortal Kombat movie. This is probably the best Mortal Kombat movie so far. That is until the reboot comes out in a year or two. This is a must buy for Mortal Kombat fans who want more than the games.

I've seen this movie in theaters when it was released, and bought both the DVD and Blu-Ray releases of this movie. It's one of my favorite movies based on a video game. The plot was really good, all of the characters were accurate, the action was great and it even had some comedy bits in it.

Four bucks to relive my mid-90’s college years of playing these games for hours on end? Sure, why not? I remember seeing this at the last drive-in in my area not long before it closed for good. Good memories, cheesy flick.

I have learned that this movie was made based on a video game. The movie itself is poorly done. It looks like nobody thought well ahead. It is still worthy to watch the movie, just because of one actress, Talisa Soto, who played princess Kitana. What a gorgeous women!

It does have good video quality for a movie from 1995. I wish it could get a 4k remaster. I saw it available on regular blu ray and had to have it. The sound effects and music sounded great on my soundbar. Great movie.

Classic martial arts film based on the hit video game. Martial arts flicks weren't really being made in the U.S. at the time, so it was a bit of fresh air. It's campy and fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. And Christopher Lambert playing an asian thunder god........
What can you say to that?

One of the few movies based on a video game that is actually good. If you are a fan of the Mortal Kombat video games, you will enjoy this one. Stay away from its sequel (Annihilation) though.

Minimum characters filling in...Live Mortal Combat!!!! Best price. Only downside is it’s hard to find a complete collection. When you get others aside from the first be sure to let me know ok!

Paul W.S. Anderson's Mortal Kombat (1995) is perhaps the greatest video game adaptation ever put to film. Once that opening theme kicks in, you know you're in for a wild ride!
