It's Mortal Kombat.

Well, like we all know and feel about this movie when it came out in theaters, we were disspointed on the story as it felt a bit short and rushed. Felt like random characters where just picked for flash and did no fighting. These movies would have been better if they actually took their time just like Mortal Kombat Legacy webseries on you tube. Now those are awsome. But if you are a big Mortal Kombat fan like me, they you'll want this movie. I actually watched it, and found out that Shinok the fallen elder god is both Rayden's and Shao Khan's father. Hey, I learned something here. Mayble a clue to the next Mortal Kombat game. Well the fact that it's now on Blue-ray makes it even better.

Based on the Video Game....

The first Mortal Kombat movie was actually pretty good for being based on a (pretty much plot-less) game. So-so acting and story, but good visuals and elaborate sets combine with a fantastic sountrack to make a pretty fun movie.
This is not that movie. The whole point of this sequel seemed to be to fit as many MK game characters on-screen as possible. No story, Ok but not great soundtrack, and ... yeah, nothing else either. There really isn't any reason to see this movie.
Beware the image on this site... using the logos from both movies, it almost looks like this is another 2-pack of the first and second movies. It's not... trust the guy that apparently didn't read the description.

It Does the Impossible

Does the impossible in being worst than the first film. Considering the first film was already scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of quality, I didn't think it was possible for the sequel to be worse. Well it was, and here's the dvd to prove it.
