Having been a passive MK fan for many years. I fell out of the games about MK 3 simply because I was a button masher. Still have loved the fatalities and the development of the series though. The animation is really good. The fight scenes are gloriously gory. The story is predictable but that doesn't take away the fun. The dialogue is cringeworthy sometimes but hey, you know what you are getting. I had a lot of fun watching it and it was a great distraction for 80 minutes.

I wasn't expecting much from this movie, but I had to give it a chance since I was a fan of the first 2 games as well as the first movie. I was pleasantly surprised. I have to say that this is the best film adaptation of a game franchise that I've seen. The gore is a bit too gratuitous, but I'm fine with that.

This movie was great. I purchased it on sale for less than ten dollars. I really enjoyed the fight scenes, the visuals, and I really liked the story of Scorpion. I highly recommend this, especially on sale. I have not watched the 4K version, but there isn't a difference in visual quality from what I hear.

Simply WOW! This is like an MK version of Ninja Scrolls in terms of animated martial arts, swords play, blood, and gore. Its awesome and the way they should leave Mortal Kombat movies unless they put real love and attention to a life action flick!

I picked this up for $6 ahead of Black Friday. It was fun, but I feel like it really only appeals to existing MK fans. The animation was a little more cartoony than I was expecting, but it didn't distract for too long. And the voice acting was good, including Steve Blum as Sub-Zero from the last two games, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Goro from the original movie.

This movie masterfully tells the story we all know and love of how Scorpion came to be. The best iteration of MK in film to date. It’s fun, action packed and violent. Extremely violent. The characters are at their best here, performance-wise. This gives me hope for the 2021 live action film.

Top Tier Animation. Good Plot, lots of action. Very cool style with the Xray Bone crushing. This movie is not for kids. Very Violent. Would say teens on up. (Though now days, much younger kids see much worse). I really enjoyed this movie and hope to see more coming out in the series. Buy it!

This movie is pretty awesome, full of violence, carnage and fantastic martial arts for a cartoon. It explains a lot about the character “scorpion” and why is the way he is. Hope they come out with more of these origin movies about the Mortal Kombat characters

First off DC animation studios at its finest. If you are or ever were a fan of Mortal Kombat then you will enjoy this movie. It has its own spin on the tournament that lead up to the invasion of earth realm and has the makings of a sequel.

I think any fan of the Mortal Kombat franchise will very much enjoy this movie. I liked the 1995 animated Mortal Kombat film, "The Journey Begins" and the live action Mortal Kombat films, so this one is a good, albeit bloody, addition to the collection.

True to the original story art and R rating definitely enhanced this movie. The action in this animated series was choreographed really well. Would highly recommend if you are a fan of mortal Kombat or animated movies in general.

The Exclusive Gift set is a great addition to the collection. The movie is drawn very well and the story line is great! The Scorpion figure was sculpted well and great paint work. Hoping they continue the storyline with other characters.

I hadn't heard much about this before I bought it, but figured it was worth the sale price of $10. It was. I really enjoyed it and even caught myself laughing out loud at Johnny Cage. I highly recommend for any MK fan.

It is a creative re-telling of the first game’s story and perfectly captures the brutal nature of the video games. They include nods to the modern entries with x-ray type blows, tons of gore, and include some unique and cool fights.

I am a huge fan of Mortal Kombat and once I found out about this, it is a no brainer that it will be a blind buy for me. I am not disappointed at all. The picture quality and story line is great. Highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend this movie for everyone that loves Mortal Kombat it’s a fantastic good movie and I love every bit of it and can not wait for them too do a second one so this is worth the buy if you love Mortal Kombat

Bought it as I wait for the live action movie coming later this year and I can definitely recommend it for mortal kombat fans. Had to play mk9 after watching it because it reminded me of the story in that game.

Great exciting and fun animation all around! Great interesting storyline as well! The Scorpion figure included is a very fun to have collectible on the side. Digital copy frequently enjoyed and viewed.

A mortal kombat movie made Wb animation that makes the dc animated movies? Sign me up and it did not disappoint. Loved every second of it and now the long wait begins for the live action movie coming out.

Violent and bloody so dont watch with the kids but fantastic story would kill for a live action flick as good. If you are a mortal kombat fan pick this up youll love it even if your favorite character hasnt shown up yet.
