How better to spend date night with spouse than some good old fashioned "GET OVER HERE!!" Nice to travel down memory lane and dismember the opponent.

I bought this for me, and my son plays it all the time. Great game, and reminds me of my earlier, game playing days.

Basically the complete Edition of "Mortal Kombat X". It includes both Kombat Packs,which are the characters Jason,Predator,Tanya,Tremor,Alien,Leatherface,Bo Rai Cho and Tri borg. Tri borg is a very interesting unique character. He is a combination of all three cyborg ninjas(Cyrax,Sektor and Smoke)which are in the form of his variations. Also included with this package are all of the classic fatalities,stage fatalities,tons upon tons of gruesome brutalities,along with stage brutalities and all character skins. If you are a fan of "Mortal Kombat" or a fan of fighting games in general,then I would definitely recommend this game. It's worth every penny and you won't be disappointed!

I bought this game so my son and I could play a fighting game (and because Street Fighter isn't on the XBox One) and it's a good time. I started off button mashing and having some pretty good results, but as he actually practiced it didn't take long for him to catch up to my mashing abilities. The graphics are nice (as you'd expect from this generation of consoles and games) and the action is as high speed or as stealthy as you are a fighter. A lot of the fighters are familiar from the multitude of Mortal Kombats before it so I didn't come in unaware, but they have new moves, new sequences, and background interactions that give it some depth. Like all fighting games, it gets a little repetitive after awhile, but it's still a good game that's easy to get into and takes some time to master. Her'es a little hint that my son failed to share with me until later into the game: you can see all the combo moves and finishing moves by pressing the menu button at any time.

I sold my regular version of Mortal Kombat a couple weeks ago because I had preordered this one. I knew right when I heard about this coming out that I would want it. As far as I know, it has all the characters included. I especially wanted Jason Voorhees, Alien, and Predator because I grew up watching all of those movies. I've been playing it for just a few days, but I had been playing the regular version of Mortal Kombat for several months. And I recently played Mortal Kombat like crazy on my 360. The reason why I bring that up is because the Xbox One's Mortal Kombat looks awesome. Some characters look more realistic while others not so much. Overall, the graphics are way better than the 360 - as it should be. But I didn't expect that much of a difference. Game play wise, it's just as fun as it always has been. I'm not the greatest at the games nor do I understand all that much about it, so I guess I should read up about it as it is not as straight forward for me. Anyway, great game. Good graphics. Loading times aren't bad. Oh, when I popped this into my Xbox One, it did have to "update" my Mortal Kombat X to the XL which was about 6gb. Don't plan on playing this game right when you get it - it may take a while.

Let me start off by saying I love mortal Kombat! It is my favorite fighting game franchise by far. When it was announced that the franchise was going to be rebooted I was very excited to see what new characters and stories would arrive. I was disappointed with mk9 and this xl version is a baby step in the right direction but still not enough to merit a 5 star review. First the good, the game graphics are gorgeous! The characters and especially the backgrounds are amazing. I love the interactivity of the stages as well. A pretty large selection of characters is a plus also. Ok, now the bad. I HATE guest characters! I don't care about alien or Jason or any characters that are not from the world of mk! They take up space that could be used on new exciting characters! Speaking of new characters, the new kids are ok. Cassie is by far the best one so kudos to the mk team! But the whole roster feels heavy on male fighters. What gives?! Mk has plenty of awesome female fighters so why weren't they included? I'd like to see a returning nitara, li Mei, ashrah, Jade, etc. Also kotal Kahn just doesn't do it for me. I'm disgusted they named him Kahn! Moving on, the violence and gore are at ridiculous and pretty stomach turning levels. Personally I think it detracts from the game and is unnecessary. I also don't like the variations system. If they are going to go that route why not just make them selectable on the fly during a match as it was in deadly alliance and deception? The story is ok but seems like a retread of the past and frankly I was expecting new and fresh ideas. Well if you simply must have this game then go for it. Otherwise just wait to see what mk11 will bring. As negative as this review sounds I still think$20 to pick it up is a sweet deal!

I got this game for my nephew’s birthday and he loves it so far. Haven’t had any complaints from him. Loves to play none stop

Mortal Kombat has been one of my favorite games since the arcade days of popping quarters in a machine. The last generations Mortal Kombat games are unbelievable and so much fun! I'm very late to the party of Mortal Kombat 10, but if you enjoy fighting games, MK XL is wonderful. It has all the DLC content, the game is fast, graphics I think amazing and it has a great kombat story that continues where MK9 left off. Hours and hours of fun, highly suggest you give it a try!

This Komplete game is amazing, I know that MK11 is out and right now the rage but I picked this up as starter before picking up MK11 and I got to say that I'm blown away by the level of detail and gameplay. These guys are geniuses when it comes to game design. You will love the game , what was even more better was getting a price match that brought the game down to $16.49, you can't beat that for the amount of bang you get for your buck. Trust me check this out you will love it.

I grew up playing Mortal Kombat games, and hold some pretty high expectations in terms of gameplay. Well, MK XL is really fun and exciting to play. I’ve played it on my PC and iOS devices, and have recently got back into playing on the Xbox. This game is fun regardless of what platform you play it on. The graphics and game mechanics are great (though I haven’t played in 4K), and the story is exceptional as ever.

I'm happy I waited for this version of the game to be released. This version gives you all the characters, costumes and is worth the purchase for any MK fan.

this game keeps not only my son busy but also the husband so you can get all your stuff done... even sneak a nice shopping experience while they stay busy and unaware of surroundings.

Well, MK3 was the last MK I owned on a console. I love my Sega Saturn! This is a nice and fun return to a series I hold fondly in my heart. All the blood, guts and fatalities you can ask for. The combo system takes a bit of getting use to but it feels satisfying to nail a huge damage combo. Overall I love it!

This game is great, you won't be disappointed best fighting game ever and the graphics is out of this world and I don't know what to say about the XL characters they are on point with movement jestures and it sounds amazing, the audio in this game is ridiculous A MUST PURCHASE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED

MK at its finest, includes all dlc. I don't mind waiting for the "game of the year" or "ultimate editions" of games instead of doing this season pass BS. Most of these games have problems the first few months after launch anyways, so if you waited then this is a good deal

Another edition to the Mortal Kombat line, this edition gives you all the DLC of the regular edition except in one nice bundle.

I love the addition of Jason Vorhees, Leatherface and the Alien to the usual cast of characters. I haven't played this game in years and really enjoy this version. The fatalities are brutal, graphic, and very entertaining. The story line is a bit lame (in my opinion) but the fighting is the same great experience it's always been.

Mk xL is an amazing game. So much fun and one of my all time favorite franchises. The graphics are great and having most of the dlc included is even better. There are only a couple of costumes not included. I recommend it to any fighting game fan.
