    I've been a fan of MK since the original, even the 'dark days of the franchise'. This is a return to glory ... an improvement on the MK reboot from the last console generation. The bonus content featured in XL along with discounted holiday pricing was too good to pass up.

    This is a great Street Fighter-type fighting game, made better than the initial game release with the inclusion of the previous DLC content, including new characters. Definitely go for the "XL" version of this game because of this included DLC content.

    we really wanted to unlock some specific characters, like Alien and Leatherface, and this version of the game does just that. it's not a code in the box, you insert the disc, and it downloads a bunch of updates.

    I remember when MK first came out. This is such a great game. All the players are balanced. You can't go wrong with getting this game to beat everyone up. You can't just button mash.. You need to learn the combos. Excellent time killer game. Good story!

    Was looking to get back into mortal kombat after many years away and this one is great. XL is a great deal because you get all of the add on packs that were released for X. If you are into mortal kombat I would very much recommend picking this one up.

    Have always loved MK and this was not a disappointment. Have it on my phone and for the xbox one S. We take turns playing winner in family battles. Yes I know this is a bloody game, mine are teenagers.
