Great -- until...

Then, out of the blue, it stopped powering up and it picked the worst possible time to do this (the day before we moved out of state). I went to Verizon and Best Buy to rectify the problem. Both told me I hadn't purchased the expensive insurance, so I was on my own to deal with Motorla. (Way to stand behind your product, Best Buy!# With Motorola, I experienced a customer service nightmare through a series of calls with representatives who needed more training in speaking and understanding English. They agreed to give me a replacement #at a cost!) but then didn't ship it in a timely manner. Eventually I gave up and cancelled the request, then paid out of pocket for a non-Motorola phone. I like the idea of the first-class battery and some of the other Droid Maxx features, but the untimely crash and the poor all-around customer service lost me.
