Got this device (2 refurbished G5s)) for my kids for a trip, wanted them to be able to play games etc, watch amazon/netflix downloads without need for a tablet and something like a ds. Also did not want a pricey gadget for them to lose or break. Bought this over a few other devices like the G6 as a little better processor. Did not try any aggressive graphics games but played asphalt 8 acceptable for my son and other games like Tictac toe etc. Video playback for downloaded netflix/amazon was fine. Battery life was very good and would recharge much more quickly than some older phones have used in the past. Worked on both Xfinity (verizon) and Tmobile sim cards, but just tested it so can not comment on overall phone reliabilty but would expect it to be good.

I hadn't purchased a refurbished phone before and was hesitant to roll the dice on something that might not work well, but after a few weeks of use I can say this phone is great. With moderate use the battery lasts for a couple days, and all the latest apps have quick response time. I hope to have this phone for a couple years but would definitely look for a Best Buy refurbished next time I'm in the market. Best of all I've saved several hundred dollars compared to all the new phones out there right now.

For being refurbished, this phone looked totally new. Nice big screen, good battery life. Great deal.

Great phone for the money! couldn't ask for a better smartphone for the money for my teenage girls. All the bells and whistles of the I-phone and Galaxies for less than half the price.

Very nice phone, unlocked to work with virtually any network. The phone received was not "like new" but in very good condition. Display is excellent and large. I used it mostly for international trips and encountered no problem. The phone did some security updating (simultaneously with app updating) which caused some problem with Google Play Store app, but a local Best Buy associate in the cellphone section cheerfully fixed the problem (by uninstalling updates of the Play Store app).

I didn't think it would be able to replace my old Nexus phones, coming from Pure Android, it definitely holds up!

Thought I was getting a good deal for the price being that it was a refurbished phone. Instead I am 100% disappointed trying to play games and the phone glitches and freezes. The only good thing about this phone is the screen size.

The refurbished phone comes in a best buy box not Motorola. In the box was the phone and a small charger. The charger was 0.5A... much to small for current cell phones. Motorola ships this phone with 3A charger. No documentation.... nothing.
