Best watch ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch is a winner. The recent firmware updates have greatly improved the battery life. In fact, I've been using mine regularly all day and still have 45% battery at 10:00pm. After reading other reviews, I adopted the method of checking the watch, glancing at emails and messages, and briefly scanning over GPS directions instead of treating the watch as an equal to my Note 3. Instead, use this device as a time saver to interact with your phone, and you'll be pleasantly surprised by its battery and usability. The Android Wear ecosystem is still in its infancy, but it's already proven an exceptional experience. More work has yet to be done for 3rd party apps, but this will improve once the Wear APIs are released. So far though, it is an impressive debut into the wearable realm. The look and functionality of this device actually convinced me to leave my beloved iPhone. While the Apple Watch isn't yet available, it does not appear to appreciate what a smartwatch ought to be, a quick tool for glancing at your phone's notifications and activities. The Card based design is beautifully intuitive and glance friendly, and a quick tap on the screen prepares the watch to listen to a command without needing to shout out "OK Google." A single push button on the side provides a way to trigger settings, power options, or just turning off the display. No squinting or turning of a crown required. Regarding the screen, my job requires heavy driving and a lot of viewing of the watch outdoors or in the car. Rest assured, the screen can be read with clarity and ease. I have not run into a situation yet when I couldn't read the display, and my eyes are terrible. The watch looks great, wears comfortably, and is amazingly useful. No typing and no clicking get in the way of you using the device quickly. The swipes can take some getting accustomed to, but they are so intuitive and the card design so efficient, you should have no problems incorporating it into your daily routine. I do wish a speaker were included, offering pairing options with the audio from your phone, but the drain on the battery probably nixes that idea. Other than that, this is a gorgeous and intuitive device. This device is not just for early adopters, Motorola released the first smartwatch truly ready for the masses. If you are an Android user or considering making the switch to Android, you should definitely consider purchasing the best Android accessory available.

Much better than I anticipated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After all of the initial reviews stating how bad the battery life was I was quite disappointed in the initial press the Moto 360 received. I happened to walk into Best Buy and they had one in stock, so on impulse I bought it. Luckily I bought mine just a few days after the initial firmware update. First off the battery life has been more than adequate for my needs. I'm not a heavy user by any means, I get maybe 40-50 notifications during the day between texts and emails. I normally end the day from 7am to about 10pm with my battery in the 50-58% range. Android wear itself is quite simple. It does what I need it to and really not much else. I'm not interested in a watch that I use to play games, or try to type out messages on a tiny screen. Android wear and the Moto 360's greatest strength is it doesn't try to do too much and what it does it does well. There are some minor quibbles, mostly with Android Wear not the Moto 360. As far as hardware is concerned I give it 5 stars.

Great product...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product for the sale price of 179.99. As you can see these products drop in price often. This is a terrific watch, it is certainly worth $75. As far as what I paid for it wait just a little while and pick it up at a discounted pricing point...the app market for it is still new, not a lot of people are really going to be using this watch for running.

Great customization battery life could be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a Samsung Gear Neo 2 for a while and I loved my Neo but I wanted something else as well that was stylish, electronic, and different that I could wear as well. I saw a coworker with this on and decided to research it. I read a lot of reviews and still decided to get it. I like it, I like the customization of the wall papers you can use, I love how it shows you your apps and comes on so it can show you the time without you having to touch it. The only thing I have to say I would not like is the battery life. It dies so fast that I can barely use it through a whole work day. I start work at 9 so it's suffice to say I take it off the charger around 8:30a and by about 1p it's already around 50% and as soon as it's time to go home it's less than 30%. I would put it on theater mode which does help with the battery life a ton but after an update to the software on the watch theater mode isn't the same. I hope they find a way to fix the battery life in the next watch they make.

Awesome with with great future potential
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice looking watch. Simple, elegant, great build quality. There is nothing about it that makes you feel the watch is cheap or corners were cut. I've experience excellent battery life, about 20 hours of typical use, almost 2 days with light use. I'm pleased with a lot of the android wear notifications and available apps for the watch. Ideally, it would have a speaker and text input, not just voice. While you can handle quick message replies with voice or canned responses, there are occasions to compose a quick customized message where you don't necessarily want to speak the message aloud. The single orientation of the screen is annoying - though this may be fixed in a later update. That's part of the appeal of this device, hardware shortcomings are locked in, but it will see software improvements over time.

This is a great smartwatch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The moto 360 is a great smartwatch now at an incredible price as they make room for newer generations. Motorola's updates have been increasing battery life since it first rolled out. Depending on how many apps you install, battery might die before the end of the day. The moto 360 includes wifi as an android wear update added the support while other cheaper watches as the Asus Zenwatch does not.

does what was expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this product for me check messages and caller ID without drawing much attention. It does that and more. with the continued updates rolling out and as more apps are being developed this generation and the following are going to bet/get better. Customizing the watch face is fun and can break up the boring old watch faces. There have been complaints about battery life, but I am able to use it in a normal day and at about 9 hours of wear the battery is maybe at 50% . Having the step counter and heart rate monitor is nice to keep track of the activity. It took sometime to find an app that would calculate calories intake and burned within the same app similar to the Fitbit app. Right now there is a work around for it. Overall good solid built product and meets my needs/wants for the device. I like that you can transfer music to the device itself and can go for a run, track steps/distance and listen to music with Bluetooth headphones, without carrying your phone.

Very good Android watch.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this on a whim because the price was right and I had a gift card burning a hole in my pocket. As it turned out, I now wear the watch to work, all week long. The battery lasts all day and I charge it every night. The phone has many features - some I use, some not. Heart rate monitor, step counter, news update, text notification, calls, weather... lots of things I thought would be useless, but now I rely on the watch to let me know what is going on and if I should pick up my phone. Wonderful! Set-up is easy. I have a leather band (premium quality) but you need to be careful splashing water on it. I got a 3-pack of screen protectors and have used two since I got the watch. It is definitely a looker, I have received more comments from strangers than for my regular watches. Definitely a great buy. I would do it again!

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with the purchase. Watch works very well. It is very convenient to have my notifications on my wrist as I sometimes miss ones on my phone. The watch seems very study and solid. Was a bit concerned about purchasing the leather band instead of the metal band as I did not want to look tacky like a rubber band, but I am happy with leather. It looks very sleek.

Why wait? Go buy one.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been looking forward to this watch for a while now, and it has not disappointed. Everything you've read about improved battery life with the last update is TRUE. I now get through 2 days at a time and charge every other day, and it charges incredibly FAST! Don't bother charging over night, just stick it on the dock while you get ready in the morning. Features are great so far and you know it's only going to get better with future updates. Don't wait for the next version, because (like all technology) of course the next version will always be better. By that logic, why ever buy a new TV? The prices always drop or a newer, better product comes out, but where the fun in waiting? I get so many compliments on this watch now. Get that for yourself now, before it's a common item and you are just blending in.

Great Device!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Moto 360 is well worth every dollar spent. It is a great way for me to stay connected to my phone and my life. I do not always have the time or ability to pull my phone out, but the 360 solves this problem. It has helped stay in the loop and connect ranging from texts to t.v. shows. The black finish does wear away, so I recommend the stainless steel.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great watch. Lot of great features.I have had this watch for about a month love its functionality. I highly recommend getting watchmaker premium for it, You have access to thousands of watch faces for it. Adjusting the watch face to something appealing and helpful was relativity easy and there are more options and choices coming out daily.
