A smart watch that's worth the money

The Moto 360 is the first smart watch that's actually worth the pricetag. The design is stylish and doesn't look like all of those square-faced digital watches. If you're at all into wristwatches, but want a smart watch, then this deserves a look.
You can change the watch face to make it look anything from classic to trendy to high-tech. You can also download new faces from the Google Play Store.
The notifications are a bit distracting. I haven't found a balance between "Important Only" and "everything." My favorite feature though is the NFC unlocking of my Nexus 5.
All in all, I recommend it to anyone on the fence about smartwatches.

I was skeptical about buying my first smart watch. After using it for a while I can't live without it. I work in a job where it is not feasible to pull out my cell phone to view my texts or emails. I get my text, email and call notifications right over the watch and I can quickly see if it is important or disregard it. You can reply to your texts by voice right thru the phone as well as ask Google anything thru the watch. You cannot have a phone conversation thru the watch like the Gear watch though. Links immediately via bluetooth or wifi to my android phone. Love the fact that it sits in a carrier to charge and I don't have to plug in a charging cable each time. You will need to take it with you if you require charging or buy an extra charger to leave at the office. Charging is super fast as well. Watch usually gives me an entire day of use before needing a charge. Did I mention the over 1000 watch faces that can be downloaded? I wear a different watch every day, lol. Not a week goes by where someone doesn't comment on how nice the watch looks. I have the silver watch with silver metal watch band.

Other than poor battery life for the first week great watch. I average 10 calendar events and 30 plus emails per day the battery lasts 12 to 14 hours. No more looking at the phone during movies or meetings.

I use this everyday, and I don't think I could live without it. Sounds a bit extreme, but I used to wear a watch everyday until the one I had broke, and I never cared to repair it. This mixes two things that I wanted - Style and Wanting to have a device that partners with my phone to easy access.
What it won't do:
-conduct phone calls through the phone.
-browse the web via a dedicated browser
-type with a dedicated keyboard
What it will do:
-Show all notifications that you receive on your phone.
-Be able to dismiss these or reply with a quick message via voice.
-Control music from almost any music player on your phone. I've found this to be very useful while in the car, or at the gym.
-Useful for many health features. Heart rate, pedometer, and calories.
-And of course Tell Time.
Many users are still making apps on the Play store, so there is still time for future advancements. I've found that the InstaWeather app is very useful. Its free, gives you some great looking watch faces, and gives you accurate weather on the fly.

If your venturing into the brave new world of wearables, this is the one to buy. Looks fantastic and easy to use. The battery life lasts barely a day, which is the only downside.

Looks premium, very comfortable, and I love the customization. Battery life could be better; I have to charge it every night as I usually end the day at around 40%.

Product was everything I needed in a smart watch with the style of something that isn't a block on my wrist. I love the clock faces that are available. Lots of functions. The alerts save me from taking out my phone every time I get an email or text.

I bought this device expecting more style than utility. However, Moto 360 provides a lot of facilities. Working in my lab, I do not need to catch my cellphone. Just saying "Set a timer... start stopwatch..." and a lot of more facilities. The heart rate sensor is not so accuracy but provide a good parameter. The ability to change the background is another good point.

I've been fairly happy with the Moto 360. It's mostly effortless, rarely clunky to navigate and works with email, text, music, phone calls and maps. It's not as feature heavy as the iWatch, but for $150 it's a great price for a stylish watch that does what you need it to do. Battery life lasts a day so if you forget to charge it at night, it probably won't last another day. Good news is, it only takes about an hour to charge in full.

I've had the watch a few months now. I love the way it integrated easily with my Samsung Note 4. There are a couple of websites that list essential apps for having a smartwatch and I highly recommend reading that info. The heart monitor from Motorola works great. The one from Google Fit doesn't. It doesn't seem to record all physical movement well. Not sure if this is a phone or watch issue. Other than that, the watch feels nice, looks good, and I get a lot of compliments on the look. The leather band seems like it will give out before long. They make an item called Steel Connect that adapts it to fit a standard wrist watch band. I will be doing this for more options. Overall, I love the watch. It is my first, won't be my last.

So, I had such good luck with my Moto G that I figured I'd give this a try since I was in the market for a new secondary watch. I'm impressed. Features are nice for what it is, especially the notifications for text and email when synced with the phone. Only complaint is battery life, but it's about the same as anything Samsung or Apple. Does everything my friend's Apple Watch does at about 1/4 the cost. As long as you remember to put it on the charger nightly, you're good. Worth the purchase!

This is a beautiful watch. The flat tire doesn't bother me, nor would it anyone else unless they just wanted to complain. My only drawback is the processing speed - i haven't had many troubles with it, but I am worried about how it will react to the 5.1 update when it is finally released. The TI processor can't handle much more than what is already on its plate. But all-in-all, for a first-generation product I would rank it above most other smartwatches.

Best Android Wear Device

Believe me when I say the best, this watch rocks, compared to the Samsung Gear and LG Watch R that I own. With the recent updates to Android Wear, this watch is fantastic. Having notifications at your wrist is very convenient. The leather strap is comfortable and good quality. I do not recommend using after market bands on this, unless you can modify them to fit the notch inside the watch. I've seen others use the Pebble steel band and crack the Moto 360 over time. Battery life is good, I get about two days, but I always end up charging it every night anyways. The wireless charging cradle is very handy.

This watch does everything as advertised and does it well. The only complaint is the battery life, which I knew was not great before I purchased it. On day 1 I was unable to get a full day, but with any battery I anticipate it will last a little longer once conditioned. Also, I have a feeling I was using it more than I typically will which also kills the battery.
The heart rate monitor is far better than the Asus Zenwatch which I had returned in exchange for this.
I purchased this watch for myself and the main uses/benefits I use: activity tracker, heart rate monitor, music, some texting.

If this had a speaker or even a headphone jack that you could use to actually answer a call through the watch then everyone would be wearing one of these. For everything else it does I am very happy and I am sure I have only touched the surface of what it can do. No battery issues. Lasts all day.

I purchased my Moto 360 on sale for $149.00. What a bargain !!!! I didn't realize when I bought it that the recent android update would would add wi fi and several other awesome features. The battery could be little bit better. It is actually on par with most other smartwatches and will last 12 to 14 hours Still an awesome smartwatch for the price.
