Was looking for a new phone for my son. Associate was extremely helpful and made great suggestions to go with an unlocked device rather than a prepaid phone that is only usable with 1 carrier. His suggestion paid off as we can now get service at our little lake place in the country. And if the carrier we initially chose wouldn't have worked, then we could have tried a different one the next month!!

I am a formal iPhone user and after I lost my iPhone, I was very lire about purchasing an Android phone, but this one has all the functionality I need and is very robust, and the price was outstanding compared to the iPhone. Thanks Motorola and Best Buy, this was a great deal.

After trying 3 times to buy a reasonably priced over 5'' unlocked, 4G phone that actually worked on the local networks here in NJ, Finally I found Motorola... Yes to MOTO G any generation...It gives great functionality at a reasonable cost and accepts all network sim cards! At 5.5'', it offers me the ability to see the info easily too! I am very happy with this phone. It took 4 tries, but finally I am happy with a phone that actually works! Thank you, MOTO!

This phone has pretty impressive specs: 8-core processor, nice camera but for a $200 phone why is there no NFC? And no fingerprint reader? This won't work with Android Pay! So disappointed as I thought this phone would be perfect for me! Guess I'm going back to the Samsung...

it is a great celular phone . i reccomend all users to buy this cellphone. The camera is great. It is very quiclky.

This phone keeps up with the best of them and the price point was great! The phone being unlocked is also a bonus!

I originally purchased a moto e4 - the 'newest model' available. Upon activating that phone, I had nothing but problems - would not allow any data usage and no one at net 10, verizon, or best buy could figure out why. I returned that phone and instead purchased this. I got an open-box discount and I would never know that it was opened before - it is in excellent condition, works extremely well. Great camera, user friendly, nice display screen.

I had two phones fail in the last six months and needed a new one but was still paying for one with Verizon. There are not many options for unlocked phones that are compatible with Verizon but fortunately the G4 was. This phone does everything I need pretty well and you can add additional memory. So far it has been a bargain at $200.

Bought this unlocked phone for my son because I didn't want to get locked in to a contract extension or payment plan with my carrier. He's had it for a month and works great. Good signal and battery life. My other son has had one for a year and no problems.

Bought this to replace an older Tracfone. This one has a gyro to use with my VR (primary reason I got this one). So far this has been a very good phone. It was a bit of a pain in the ars to get it transferred over to Tracfone ( not the fault of the phone). 2 of the tracfone reps was telling me the phone was NOT compatible with the Tracfone service ( they were wrong). Finally got connected and been good ever since. Not too big and not too small, still working on figuring out all functions and settings for the phone, but overall, happy with the purchase. Works great with my Utopia 360 VR goggles ( got that at Best Buy too). Gave it 4 stars to start. Will update to 5 if I don't have any issues in the near future.

I came from having a 2nd-Gen Moto X, so I was fully prepared for the hardware features of the new Moto G. I've had no software or hardware issues so far, as I never did with my previous Moto phone. Solid choice(s) all around; definitely not the top-of-the-line, but it's not trying to be. I mean, it's $200 unlocked, it's super fast, and DOESN'T suck. If you pass on this phone with "inexpensive" as a priority, you're really making a mistake!

I absolutely love my Moto G 4th addition. I switched over from my broken Droid Turbo with Verizon, absolutely no problem. In every way this phone has been equal to my Droid Turbo, a phone costing three times as much. The screen is bigger, the performances excellent, the camera works great. I suppose if I were a gamer that the Droid is faster. However I don't game! I also love that I can switch carriers do I get sick of my present one, LOL.

Needed a phone to do texting, calls, and a few basic photo shoots. This phone is adequate for the tasks listed above. Have had no problems with calls, texting, or photos. Price was not prohibitive. Actually could have been lower price for the type of phone received. Overall, good bargain, adequate phone, no problems.

The phone is perfect for the casual smart phone user. Very fast processor, main camera is comparable to most phones that are far more expensive. Not ideal for gaming but with a memory expansion this phone could be everything you need and more.
