I bought the Motorola G 5G 2024 as a last-minute solution, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. I've been using it for almost a year now, and it has consistently performed at 100%. It's durable, impact-resistant, huge memory capacity and the battery easily lasts all day with regular use. Overall, it’s a solid, dependable smartphone that delivers far more than you'd expect for the price. Highly recommended!

For me the most important feature of this phone is that it supports VoLTE and VoWiFi. My previous cell phone (also Motorola) did not have these features, while the service provider (foreign) stopped supporting all other connection methods while roaming in the US. After an extensive search I found that moto g 5G (2024) is the cheapest solution to my problem, and it worked just fine! I am also impressed with other features, although I do not use them much because this is not my primary cell phone. The screen quality of this moto g 5G phone is significantly better than that of Samsung G10 (2020), which is my primary phone.

I put off writing a review until I had time to use this phone for a while. It's been about a month and I have to say this phone is overall a great purchase. It works as needed, easy to use and figure out, the price was very reasonable, and the phone is fairly sturdy as I've accidentally dropped it a few times and it hasn't cracked or dented.

I’ve been using the Motorola G 2024 for a while now, and I’m really impressed with how much value it offers for the price. The display is bright and sharp, making videos and social media look great. Battery life is another big highlight — I can easily go a full day (and sometimes more) on a single charge, which is perfect for my routine. The camera quality is solid too, capturing clear and vibrant photos in good lighting conditions I also appreciate the clean Android experience with very little bloatware. Motorola’s My UX is simple and user-friendly, and the side gestures (like the double chop for flashlight) are genuinely useful. Overall, the Motorola G 2024 is an excellent budget-friendly smartphone that nails the basics — great battery, good performance, clean software, and solid build quality. Definitely worth it for anyone looking for a reliable everyday phone without spending a fortune.

Great phone with plenty of features. Good memory capacity, fast, great sound, good fingerprint sensor, excellent battery life, not bloated with lots of adware. It connects fairly fast to available networks, works good overseas, and it does provide true 5G speeds. Its' screen brightness is not great; it does sometimes becomes slow to respond when using the camera; the camera is above average but nothing close to even older gen iPhones or Pixels; and I do wish it was a tad bit smaller (lenght-wise). Overall it is a great value and I am glad Motorola is still coming out with affordable phones that are well above average and loaded with plenty of features.

I purchased this phone to replace an older iPhone and I was pleasantly surprised with its performsnce. It has a large screen that is perfect for streaming movies and playing games and sounds great with its Dolby Audio. It has fantastic battery life and charges pretty quickly but you’ll need a fast charger. The camera could be a little bit better but you can always download a Gcam apk for better photos. Good buy for sure!

Phone works well, cameras are okay. Once you get used to the gestures, the phone is extremely easy to use.

The phone is ok for the price, I had the g21 . This one has a better camera and more storage but somehow my old phone felt more premium, I guess different materials.

This is my first Motorolla and it’s exceptional. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card slot. It also has tons of built-in customization options, virtually zero bloat and even allows you to uninstall any of the few pre-loaded apps that you don’t want. The hardware has surprisingly excellent design and quality. It especially blows away my old phone with it’s high refresh rate screen. I detected no lag so far even though I loaded it up will all the apps I need. Phone came unlocked out of the box. I will probably pick up another one for a family member or just to have one as a backup because Best Buy offers the best pricing on these anywhere.

After five months of ownership, the Moto G 5G (2024) 128 GB remains a functional budget handset with exceptional battery life and solid build value. But it doesn’t get smoother over time—performance limitations, aging battery behavior, and display/camera compromises become more apparent during long-term use. Ideal for: Users needing a simple, low-cost 5G phone with long battery life and minimal expectations for high performance or camera quality. Not ideal for: Users who demand smooth app switching, vivid display, rich multimedia, or extended longevity.

The ram and processor were my main concern. So far after a month of use. It's a Great butget Phone. Tests in YouTube showed this scores higher than the 2025 ideation. The storage 128gig is Nice.

I am completely satisfied with their performance. More than a year ago I bought a Motorola phone, but I didn't like it because the battery would get extremely hot when charging. For this reason, I had my doubts when I considered buying the Moto G 2024

Overall I like this Motorola phone. Great camera. Better than some of the iPhone pics I've seen. I added an sd additional memory card. Took a little work to close the seal but it can be done. The only slight issue is occasionally there is a slow delay when switching from one app to another. Good sound quality on calls. Good battery life and quick charging. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new phone and doesn't want to spend big bucks.

This has been a really good phone!! I'm very pleased with it. It has a lot of memory. Runs quick and smooth.

This phone is a huge upgrade from my old phone it runs so much better than any other phone I've had. And it was only 170 dollars including shipping and taxes which is pretty good for a phone nowadays. The battery lasts all day and the camera is excellent.

It does what it should well enough. It was a great price and my phone was nearly on it's last leg so I took the opportunity to purchase before my phone crapped out. I am not a fan of the camera. It's not as good as my moto g stylus (from 2019!) and you cannot zoom on the front/selfie camera. My old phone took really great photos leaving me a bit disappointed with the downgrade. Battery life isn't as long either. It's a good enough budget phone to get me by, but I will get the Stylus or Power next time around.

Good phone nice screen size. Got it for a small business line and works perfectly for what we need it for and phone link on our windows computer. It is not as slow as some may say, slower than an iphone or samsung but nothing life altering. Funny thing is due to the ringer my 3 year old is going around saying "Hello MOTO." If you need a no thrills phone that works id recommend this one.
