Really disappointed for the price

Not anything special. Basic android. No new or stand out features. Camera is less then great. The only thing I enjoy is the finger sensor on the power button.

Bestie phone ever

I bought this phone for myself, parents and my two brothers. That experience out of it has stood the tastes. Nice looking phone with very strog battery, network and easy to navigate through it. The camara is amazing. I had to buy 4 of them again this February for my little nieces and they all loved it. Mine has fallen in water many times, dropped many times and the phone still very functional without any noticeable defect. I love ❤️ the phone, my family ❤️ it and i will continue to love and recommend it to others.

This is my fourth Motorola. I find them to be durable, easy to use, and priced right. This phone has a lot of very nice features for the bargain price. The screen resolution and camera are both excellent. The back is coated with a silicone like texture that makes it more secure in my hand. It has plenty of storage for my use and there is the option to add a mini SD card, which is where I store photos. I choose Motorola for how long they last and because they aren't as fragile as most. It doesn't matter what features a phone has if it is going to fail after being bumped around a bit. These can take normal use and hold up for years.

Mid Phone, only good on sale for basic use

I lowkey hate this phone, but it's part my fault. I didn't have a choice, needed something cheap and it was on sale. I will say I like the outershell though. Functions fine as a phone but heaven forbid you want to listen to music and open Google maps, one of those will probably crash. It can't run Spotify and open the McDonald's app at the same time unless it's a good day. Good for basic use like calls or texting or one app at a time. Terrible for anything even slightly more involved, like switching between web browsing to an app like Door Dash or maps. Very low RAM so do keep this in mind. Camera is decent enough for the price though. Nice colors, a touch low on detail but still nice for the price point. It's a bit slow on even simple games (I don't do a ton of gaming but I have one or two and they run but I can't switch out without the game closing). Battery life is about par. I don't usually have issues getting through the day but it will be depleted by the days end with moderate use, such as occasional games, maps, watching a movie, etc.

Great Smartphone – 100 Reliable!

I bought the Motorola G 5G 2024 as a last-minute solution, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The price is very affordable, yet it offers a wide variety of apps, a good-quality camera, and all the latest features and sensors — including screen mirroring, NFC, and 5G connectivity. I've been using it for almost a year now, and it has consistently performed at 100%. It's durable, impact-resistant, huge memory capacity and the battery easily lasts all day with regular use. Overall, it’s a solid, dependable smartphone that delivers far more than you'd expect for the price. Highly recommended!

Good phone for a good price

I put off writing a review until I had time to use this phone for a while. It's been about a month and I have to say this phone is overall a great purchase. It works as needed, easy to use and figure out, the price was very reasonable, and the phone is fairly sturdy as I've accidentally dropped it a few times and it hasn't cracked or dented.

I purchased this phone to replace an older iPhone and I was pleasantly surprised with its performsnce. It has a large screen that is perfect for streaming movies and playing games and sounds great with its Dolby Audio. It has fantastic battery life and charges pretty quickly but you’ll need a fast charger. The camera could be a little bit better but you can always download a Gcam apk for better photos. Good buy for sure!

Good value and above average performance

Great phone with plenty of features. Good memory capacity, fast, great sound, good fingerprint sensor, excellent battery life, not bloated with lots of adware. It connects fairly fast to available networks, works good overseas, and it does provide true 5G speeds. Its' screen brightness is not great; it does sometimes becomes slow to respond when using the camera; the camera is above average but nothing close to even older gen iPhones or Pixels; and I do wish it was a tad bit smaller (lenght-wise). Overall it is a great value and I am glad Motorola is still coming out with affordable phones that are well above average and loaded with plenty of features.

Good value for the price.

For me the most important feature of this phone is that it supports VoLTE and VoWiFi. My previous cell phone (also Motorola) did not have these features, while the service provider (foreign) stopped supporting all other connection methods while roaming in the US. After an extensive search I found that moto g 5G (2024) is the cheapest solution to my problem, and it worked just fine! I am also impressed with other features, although I do not use them much because this is not my primary cell phone. The screen quality of this moto g 5G phone is significantly better than that of Samsung G10 (2020), which is my primary phone.

Surprisingly excellent phone.

This is my first Motorolla and it’s exceptional. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card slot. It also has tons of built-in customization options, virtually zero bloat and even allows you to uninstall any of the few pre-loaded apps that you don’t want. The hardware has surprisingly excellent design and quality. It especially blows away my old phone with it’s high refresh rate screen. I detected no lag so far even though I loaded it up will all the apps I need. Phone came unlocked out of the box. I will probably pick up another one for a family member or just to have one as a backup because Best Buy offers the best pricing on these anywhere.

Motorola G 2024 – The Perfect Everyday Smartphone

I’ve been using the Motorola G 2024 for a while now, and I’m really impressed with how much value it offers for the price. The phone feels smooth and responsive in daily use — apps open quickly, multitasking is easy, and the performance is consistent even after long hours of use. The display is bright and sharp, making videos and social media look great. Battery life is another big highlight — I can easily go a full day (and sometimes more) on a single charge, which is perfect for my routine. The camera quality is solid too, capturing clear and vibrant photos in good lighting conditions I also appreciate the clean Android experience with very little bloatware. Motorola’s My UX is simple and user-friendly, and the side gestures (like the double chop for flashlight) are genuinely useful. After five months of ownership, the Moto G 5G (2024) 128 GB remains a functional budget handset with exceptional battery life and solid build value. But it doesn’t get smoother over time—performance limitations, aging battery behavior, and display/camera compromises become more apparent during long-term use. Ideal for: Users needing a simple, low-cost 5G phone with long battery life and minimal expectations for high performance or camera quality. Not ideal for: Users who demand smooth app switching, vivid display, rich multimedia, or extended longevity.

Good and not too expensive

This phone is a huge upgrade from my old phone it runs so much better than any other phone I've had. And it was only 170 dollars including shipping and taxes which is pretty good for a phone nowadays. The battery lasts all day and the camera is excellent.

Meets my needs

Overall I like this Motorola phone. Great camera. Better than some of the iPhone pics I've seen. I added an sd additional memory card. Took a little work to close the seal but it can be done. The only slight issue is occasionally there is a slow delay when switching from one app to another. Good sound quality on calls. Good battery life and quick charging. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new phone and doesn't want to spend big bucks.

Good for price
The phone is ok for the price, I had the g21 . This one has a better camera and more storage but somehow my old phone felt more premium, I guess different materials.

I am completely satisfied with their performance. More than a year ago I bought a Motorola phone, but I didn't like it because the battery would get extremely hot when charging. For this reason, I had my doubts when I considered buying the Moto G 2024
