Great phone for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great phone for the price! I easily get a 15-18 hours on a full charge of the battery with moderate to heavy use. Camera takes decent pictures. WiFi works well. The phone is unlocked and can be used on any of the four major carriers as well as those companies like Total Wireless, Cricket that use the same towers. I would definitely recommend this phone.

Moto G5 Plus
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a solid phone for the price. The camera is the only thing that is really lacking a bit. Still worth the money for an unlocked phone.

It is an excellent phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is fast, long lasting battery, (I came from a iPhone 6 and the short battery life was really big issue for me). I am really enjoying it

Phone works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new phone. I'm not into games, searching the web, or e-mailing people from a phone - just a basics type of guy. After researching different types of phones I decided on the Moto G5 Plus. It is a little bigger than wanted but that also gave me a larger keypad to text with. My fingers are big and always seem to hit the wrong key; this helped to avoid that problem. I wear hearing aids and the phone works very good for me. It stays charged for days for the amount I use it. Still learning about the phone, but very satisfied so far.

Good phone for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the phone thanks in part to the high reviews I saw online for the phone. It looks great and performs very fast. My gripe is the way it is setup and the android operating system. I had to play with configuration to get it to my liking. plus the android operating system it has is troublesome for me especially with the phone contacts. Also, I had to buy a mirco sim card for the phone which is a extra $20 bucks for me. Also, the sound on the phone for playing music and phone calls is low even on the speaker turned up. Other than that, it looks great and with the turbo charger, charging is very quick. It holds a charge for a long time even running you tube and Spotify. Overall, I llike the phone and would recommend for anyone needing a updated phone wthout breaking the bank.

Great Moto phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to use phone. Great price. Simple to set up. Unlocked, so you don't get trapped by having to "lease" a phone from your carrier.

Good Inexpensive Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not quite as nice as my previous (HTC) smartphones, but it is good smartphone, for the inexpensive price. The power button is located a little too close to the volume buttons and the LED light will only come on to indicate low battery (instead of blinking to indicate notifications) and battery saver mode turns off vibration notifications. But all in all, it works well and has pretty good battery life.

One of the Best Phones I've Owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is truly a great phone. For a phone with a 5"+ screen, 32GB internal storage and a MicroSD card for expansion, a pretty decent 12MP camera, Android 7.0 Nougat and a Finger Print scanner all for under $250 is a great deal. The only down side I find about this phone for some people is the lack of NFC if you do any Autopay at stores. But I never used the NFC feature on past phones so it's not really a negative for me. I really love the Finger Print scanner and that you can also use it as your Home button and navigating back as well (On Button Nav). Also some of the other Moto Actions like a chopping motion of your phone to turn on the flashlight, a twisting action to open the camera are come cool features. All of these features on this budget Unlocked phone make it feel like a Flagship phone, all for under $250. Anyone looking for a new budget unlocked phone I would highly recommend this phone to them.

Excellent Phone for themoney
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The size and functions are easy to handle and use. The sound is very good as is the screen. Battery life seems to be way above my last Moto G. I carry mine in my shirt pocket and on the last one I found that I had to be careful of lint and dust getting in the charger port, I would assume this one to be the same although it has a much better fitting and deeper port. I would definitely recommend this phone.

Nice that there's no horrendous bloatware.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice change from Verizon phone full of unwanted bloatware you can't uninstall. Camera is adequate, but not as good as my LG g3 (though it was no good in low light). Great battery life so far. Vibrant screen with wasted real estate not being edge to edge. Will only cast to Chromecast, not Miracast. Was able to customize notification sounds, wallpaper, etc. Even came with radio in tact, not disabled like phones through Verizon et. al. Overall, for the price, it's a solid choice.

Lot of bang for your buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a $240 camera this is a pretty cool android tool. After having just basic pay as you go service for years because we travel abroad and it is cheaper to buy new sims in each country, we found ourselves needing a data plan. We had been researching the Moto G4Plus and just as we were about to pull the trigger the G5 plus was released. It has fewer megapixels on its camera, but a faster lens which all and all is more important for low light. Does everything we'll ever need.

Exceeds Expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shop based on specs instead of brand and/or hype. This device is equal to or lacks in very few areas compared to "higher end" devices. For the difference in price I see very little difference in performance. Very fast, decent storage, excellent camera, and runs very close to my wife's Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe 5.7 ($800 device). Buy, buy, buy! Best unlocked phone Best Buy has for the money!

Moto G5 Plus - Good SmartPhone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the MotoG5 Plus unlocked cellphone from BestBuy at a discount as it was an open-box item and in perfect condition. Major reason I wanted this phone was for travel as I go to Europe on occasion and like to save money by getting local SIMS cards from the countries I visit. It worked really well in France and I had no issues. Even though it doesn't feature a compass-feature...you can still navigate using Google Maps without a problem. The build is good and the glass is good. Camera does a really good job...the selfie-cam could be better but it works pretty well. I did have some issues with my contacts transferring from my Google account as not everyone would show up. Looking online, this appears to be a issue that you can disable the Google update and that seems to fix it...you can then add new contacts and they should stay in place. Overall it's a good phone for the money,... there are perhaps better options in Android but most will cost a bit more. I'm happy for the most part and will continue to use this for some time.

All you need if...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this phone as an emergency plan when my Nexus 5x started boot-looping into an unusual state. It is above average and above basic smartphone status, and has a nice feel in your hands. Other pros include a longer battery life than my previous Moto X (2nd gen) and my Nexus 5x. It is one of the first phones to have a dual SIM card tray as well as a micro SD card slot on the same tray, which is very nice if you know you are going to travel or take advantage of it. It also works with Verizon, which was one of my criteria. Unfortunately, I didn't know that the US unlocked version doesn't have NFC capabilities, which was a total bummer for me and so I ended up returning it once I got my fixed 5x back from LG. The screen size is nice, but the colors skewed towards greenish tones, which may or may not affect the pictures (didn't take too many pics with this phone). Otherwise, it is a tad slower than what I experienced with the Moto X 2nd Gen and the Nexus 5x (I am spoiled), but completely functional and would have been kept if I didn't get my Nexus back.

HELLO MOTO !!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I am a prepaid cellular customer, so I am accustomed to cheap phones. When I found a pre-paid cellular provider with a great price, good plan and piggybacked on a significant network I knew there had to be a great "unlocked" phone that would handle my unlimited talk, text and data plan. After trying more than a few Android phones by off-brand manufacturers, and being consistently disappointed at their performance, I took the advice of my Best Buy representative and bought the Moto G Plus with 32 gig internal storage. OH WOW. It's like night and day. Speed, performance, fabulous camera, accommodates the apps I need and has the size that makes it easy to carry and store. I especially like the security tools included which allow me to easily open the phone with "one touch", my fingerprint. It works like a dream and is pretty tough too. Not a cheap plastic phone but a high strength and lite weight metal case. The camera is excellent and I am taking the best pictures ever. The camcorder feature is great for Facebook Live and Facebook Messenger Two Way Visual. Worth the cost? Yes, absolutely.
