Nice cellphone, nothing fancy. Works fine for the price. The camera is good. This is the second Moto G5 plus I buy, both are working fine, didn't have any issues after 1 year.

If you're looking to spend less than $300 for a phone and want it to flow and work perfectly close to a high end phone, this is the one! Speed is great, camera is dope, screen is dope. I would make the screen , bigger, but for the price it's better than expected!

I am upgrading from a Moto G4 to the Moto G5 plus with 32gb. Chose both the gray phone for me, and the gold phone for the wife's Xmas gift. Very pleased with the clarity of the screen, thin design, camera, and most attractive price for the Moto phones.

Phone is easy to use, for the most part. Price is very good for what you get with an 12 mp camera and all of the google hook-ups. I am usually an Apple person, but could not pass up the price on this phone and can still use old chargers from my old phone.

This phone is a very good unlocked phone. I am not a heavy phone user, but it takes good pictures and is easy to use. Since I use Google apps it works well for me as they are all pre-installed. For the price I am extremely happy with this phone.

This phone. Is light years better and faster than my old Samsung Galaxy s4. It is very intuitive and eSy to use. Has so many great features, too many to list here. Also, the camera is better than expected. You will not find a better phone for $229, anywhere!

this is the second purchase of this phone, i got my wife and daughter one, i did not want to pay $800 dollars on a phone. so far this has been a great purchase, i've heard Motorola has been slow on the up dates to the latest OS time will tell. Good quality phone, call quality okay its sometimes garbled when it held in certain ways, such as between the chin and shoulder. so far the best battery life of any phone i've used, including HTC one M8, Samsung note 7, Iphone 6 plus, iphone 7, iphone 6 and the LG G5. Its cheap but has all the features a casual user needs, cast to TV, GPS, etc..casual gaming is good, camera is more than passable. Just get a good case. i would recommend this phone to a people who are not accident prone, and arn't stuck in the apple eco system.

For the most part its ok lacking a few important features a warning lite when receiving a message. Better hearing volume , needs to have NFC. If it had those features it would be a great phone A PLUS. Camera is very good.

I originally bought this because I was about to leave on vacation and my current (Android) smartphone decided to die on me. I thought about getting an iPhone or the Pixel but, honestly, at this point, I am interested to see what the Pixel 2 looks like. So I talk to the rep there about my situation and he recommends the Moto G5 Plus which I end up getting. A few weeks later, I must admit, this phone is much more solid than my last one and would have been a great upgrade even had the phone not died. The performance has been great as well as the battery life. Having a vanilla Android experience, a microUSD slot also gives it great marks, in my opinion. That said, I give it a 4 because the camera is okay and the speaker volume is not very high (although works well with headsets and bluetooth speakers).

This was an upgrade in phone for me. It has a lot more storage which is a big help for me. Takes really nice and clear pictures. I recently used the Google app for GPS when I was out of town and needed directions, it worked perfectly.

I had to replace my 2nd generation Moto G after nearly six years. The staff at the Shakopee, Mn store were excellent, trying at first to replace the sim card before declaring it beyond resuscitation. I am usually one to do extensive research before a purchase, but had no time to do so. Chose the Moto G 5Plus based on my experience with the old Moto G, which was very reliable over the nearly six years I had it. Got home and did my research to find that many reviewers, especially CNET, rate it as the best budget phone. Had it for about a month now, and really like it. Slightly larger than the old Moto G, which took a bit of getting used to. Love the quick charge feature, but so far the battery has been very impressive, I charge it only every other day. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone.

I have been very pleased with the phone, especially for the price I paid. The interface is easy to use, cases are easy to find, and it charges quickly and has a long battery life. I even bought the same one for my daughter.

I purchased this for an inlaw to replace an older device. There hasn't been any issues using the device and compared to the Nexus 5 they were using the pictures are great! It's not a power user's device, but neither is the price.

The Motorola G5 Plus is a good phone but the 32 GB memory phone needed more than two gigabytes of RAM because of that it often stutters and is sometimes extremely slow... Also it's sort of maddening that they released g5s Plus and charged not much more for it... The g5s had a lot of the things that made the G5 Plus not so great... My recommendation is to spend a little extra and get the GS Plus... Why they didn't just make the G5 Plus good in the beginning I'll never know... For mid-range phone it's about typical sound is weak camera is pretty good the look not great screen is pretty good I would not recommend buying this phone I only had it in June and I've already replaced it in October that. 4 the LG G6 which is a really good phone

This camera is fast, shoots decent pictures, has fingerprint sensor and doesn't have bloatware. It's more than capable for everyday use. With the relatively low price and the Motorola nameplate, it's quite an excellent value.

I would give a five-star rating to this phone, but.. Overall, good quality, good battery life, and it matched most of my expectations. But, why Lenovo decided to disable the casting option, why?? Even my first gen Moto was able to cast to tv, this one does not! They forgot inter-connected devices are the future. Disabling direct casting is a very poor decision and that's why it got 4 stars out of 5.. Still, good value for the buck!

This phone is a great device for the price. If you are not a power user, the 32 gb storage is more than adequate. I have been using Moto g phones since the Moto g3, and am a big fan, as these phones have never failed me. I am a big fan of their reliability. The big change for the Moto g5 plus over the previous generations is the metal body. It makes the phone feel premium, and on par with most of the 'flagship phones' out there. I have T-Mobile service and live in Southern California. This phone is very fast! On par with the iPhone 6s, which I also have, and occasionally use. However, I prefer my Moto g5 because it does everything the iPhone does equally well, and is much more reasonable, so I don't fear losing it as much as I fear losing the iPhone, for which I paid almost $600.

My old Samsung broke suddenly and I went and bought MOTO G 5th Gen phone without much research. I have to say, I'm more happy about it. This phone is not for those who want to invest $700 in an Iphone. It offers most of the features as other smart phones except with slightly lesser feel of it. Here are some of the Pro's and Cons. Pro's: Great screen and quick response on unlocking the screen Battery life is awesome Camera and video mode have some cool features Con's Texting is a little difficult. Especially attaching contacts is tricky Too sensitive to touch while on call. You have to consciously lock the screen when you get a call or dial a number Photo organizing could be a little better. Overall, a great buy for the price.

Moto G5 plus is easy to use. I'm able to use my phone two days without having to charge with plenty of life left over. It's a bit larger than I wanted for a phone but expected due to the larger battery. Priced right too.

Great phone for the price. Exceeds the performance of my Moto X 2nd gen and battery lasts all day. Motorola screens are also nearly indestructible in my experience; which is especially helpful if you're a klutz
