Motorola's moto g power 2024 is a fast powerful cellular phone. The touchscreen is fast and responsive. It is something I was exactly looking for. It is an extremely strong solid feeling phone where it feels like it should last a very long time. The wireless charging works great and is very fast. The Android system is familiar. I like the headphone jack, the large screen size and resolution, the large RAM, the powerful microprocessor, the large RAM storage, the available microSD storage, and the color. The cellular phone contains so much.

Perfect upgrade from Moto G Power 2021

As a long-time user of the Moto G Power series, moving from my trusty Moto G Power (2021) to the new 2024 model has been a genuinely satisfying experience. Motorola has successfully refined the formula that made this lineup so popular, delivering a phone that feels familiar yet significantly more capable. This device isn't just an upgrade; it’s a seamless transition that retains the best of the past while pushing forward on key performance metrics. Retaining the Power Legacy The main reason I stick with the Moto G Power line is its legendary battery life, and the 2024 version delivers exactly what I loved about the 2022 version (and my older 2021 model). The massive battery easily gets me through two full days of typical use—a feature that remains unmatched in this price bracket. Beyond the battery, the clean, near-stock Android experience is back, free of bloatware, keeping performance snappy and intuitive. If you loved the core experience of the previous 'Power' generations, you’ll feel right at home here. The Critical Upgrades: Camera and Storage This is where the 2024 model truly shines and justifies the switch from the 2021 model. The improvements to the camera system are immediately noticeable. Camera: A Leap in Quality The jump in camera quality is substantial. Photos are clearer, detail retention is far better, and the low-light performance, which was a weak point in my 2021 model, is dramatically improved. It’s a reliable point-and-shoot camera now, delivering vibrant and accurate colors that I’m actually happy to share directly without heavy editing. Storage: Room to Breathe One of the biggest frustrations with older models was managing limited storage. The 2024 version finally offers the storage capacity needed for modern usage—more space for my growing photo library (thanks to that improved camera!), apps, and media without constantly worrying about cleanup. This increased storage capacity alone makes the daily user experience so much smoother and less stressful. Verdict: The Best Value Power Phone Yet The Motorola Moto G Power (2024) is precisely what I look for in a mid-range phone: reliability, longevity, and intelligent upgrades. It keeps the rock-solid foundation of massive battery life and clean software that users love, while finally addressing the storage and camera limitations of the past. For anyone looking to upgrade from a 2021 or 2022 model, this phone is a no-brainer. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and confidently recommend it.

This phone is awesome, has amazing battery life and runs smoothly. It has the same features as a flagship device at less the price. Screen has great quality and refresh rate, and sound exceeds expectations! With Dolby Atmos, it gives you an immersive experience, and games run great. Storage capacity is nice too, and it's expandable and this includes RAM! This is by far the best device I've owned.

Great phone. Super fast. Upgrades to Android 15. Gaming runs smoothly and can function under high stress very well. The battery life is commensurate to what we've come to expect from Motorola over the years. The screen is very clean and the variable refresh rate 60-120hz depending on the needs of the app being used is a neat feature. Plenty of RAM to keep the phone from lagging or apps shutting down prematurely or during use. Phone doesn't get very hot under heavy load. Phone is carrier unlocked so can be used with any esim, nano sim carrier seamlessly. This is definitely one of the best mid range phones I've ever used. For the price it is unbeatable. And is super lightweight. The dual sim (nano/esim) is also a welcome feature. I highly recommend this phone. It's seriously one of the best purchases I've made in quite a while. P.s. free 2 day shipping was amazing too. It arrived super fast.

Only had the phone for a couple weeks so I'm still learning. Did my research before upgrading from my moto g6 which I had for many years and liked but was now very sluggish and low on memory. Had trouble understanding why I couldn't use the SIM card in my g6. When the card was removed by the Geek Squad I found out it had been destroyed when I had spilled coffee on the phone and the coffee had seeped onto the card. This moto g power 5g 2024 is lightning fast with more RAM and memory. The Best Buy Geek Squad helped me transfer data and did a great job. The only problem was setting up my Yahoo account which was also a problem on my g6, so I have to assume Yahoo doesn't make it easy. Since I went from one Motorola to another, many functions are the same. I gave 4 stars because the sound ring tone options are minimal. I was hoping to pick the same tones I had on the g6 so they would be recognizable but that isn't the case. Am still adjusting to the new tones. The phone is bigger than the g6 but I'm getting used to that. Bought a case with a screen shield and kickstand. I can go 2 days on one charge which is nice. With the help of the Geek Squad I set up a code security as well as fingerprint security which is on the side of the phone. I've used the camera once and video once and am happy with the clarity. I didn't buy the phone for the camera. If you're a real camera buff, this is probably not the phone for you. Motorola has been criticized for being stingy on system upgrades and it's true with this phone as well. One system upgrade but 3 security upgrades. I think it's already upgraded to Android 14. My g6 stopped getting system upgrades several years ago and the phone still met my needs other than becoming sluggish. I'm hoping this phone will perform as well. Overall I'm very happy with the moto g power 5g 2024. There's more I need to learn about this phone's capabilities but there are a lot of videos I can watch to help me. I would have given it 5 stars except for the minimal ring tones. But I highly recommend this phone which is a great phone in the $300 range.

The Moto G Power 2024 5G in Midnight Blue is a steal at $300! Vegan leather back feels premium and resists fingerprints, 6.7" 120Hz display is buttery smooth for gaming and streaming. Dimensity 7020 chip with 8GB RAM handles multitasking like a champ—snappier than pricier rivals. 5000mAh battery crushes two-day usage, 30W charging refuels fast, and wireless charging is a rare gem here. 50MP camera shines in daylight, OIS keeps shots steady. NFC for easy payments, expandable storage to 1TB. Only one OS upgrade stings, but three years of security patches keep it safe. Transformed my daily driver—best value unlocked phone out there!

This is the best budget phone with Android 14 IMHO. I had the 2023 version and although this years Mediatek Dimensity 7020 is pretty much the same as last years Dimensity 930, the extra RAM (8 GB total) makes this device run smoother and faster. The screen is fantastic and bright. I love the battery life and the side fingerprint sensor is always my fave and this year Face Unlock works a lot faster. Thanks to Motorola for listening and adding NFC for easy Google wallet/Pay this time. The Pale Lilac color is incredibly good looking and the vegan leather is so easy to hold and comfy to grip. I am also happy with the OIS camera, beyond solid. Glad I returned the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G for this. The Exynos chip was a little slower and laggy while using my Amazon Flex Delivery App. This may be a mid-range phone but people think I paid $500-$600 for it!! My wife is selling her Pixel 7 so she can buy this one as well. That speaks volumes!

Excellent quality comparative to the price. Great battery life, decent processor and memory (better than most other mid-range phones), and other software features that make this an excellent buy at the price point. My last Moto G Power lasted me 5 years as a general laborer and construction worker who used his phone as a TV/computer/gaming system... and I expect this one could do the same, so that should speak to the quality of the hardware and build. I have continuously been impressed with the quality of Motorola products over the years, and this phone series is no exception.

Bought this reasonably priced phone to replace an older Motorola phone that was no longer receiving operating system updates, had insufficient memory and storage space, and was beginning to have some issues. This kept the Moto Actions we were used to, the camera seems great with new features to learn, and overall it seems snappy and responsive. It took the SD card as well, which we were using as the main storage would otherwise fill up, so that all transferred over easily. No problems. Battery capacity is great - it can go a second day without charging with our normal use. The only issue was figuring out that the "power down" function was set instead to "assistant" but we switched that back to the way it was before. So yes, this is a great value and we hope to get quite a bit of life out of it.

Truly a good android phone by Motorola. Large built in memory. I added a extra SSD for extra room for my photos. It's unlocked, but I have a Verizon SIM card. The power g has a built-in eSim needing you only have to register it with your carrier. Great option. 5g service automatically on if in your area. You don't need to contact your provider. The finger reader works great. Sound quality is very nice. Clear screen and refresh. Sharp and clear. Responsive touch screen. Fast processing. Awesome camera. A really, really good mid-level phone at a great price. I've had good luck with Moto phones and when BB was clearing out the 2024 models at bargain prices, I bought this one and so far, I am most pleased with it. It has many great features and functions great, It's just not the best at everything, which many people seem to expect from their phones these days. Battery life is actually very good however not noticeably better than my MotoG 5G. Just slightly disappointed on that point.

Way better then the Moto g7+ it replaced. Much bigger battery and RAM, so of course it works way faster and multitasks just fine. I get 5G almost everywhere. I only had it a few days before it upgraded from Android 14 to Android 15, So far it has done everything that I have wanted to. I I have not tested the wireless charging with it yet.
