I've spent alot of money on upgrades over the year my latest being the S6 edge when it first came out. I dropped the phone shortly after and the screen was cracked for the entire 30mos. The phone was financed as it was far too expensive to fix or get a new one. My 30 mos. Ended and I searched for a while for cheap phones with good cameras and good battery life. I even looked at buying prepaid so I did not have to do another next plan only to have a phones battery life dwindle or another expensive mistake. The Motorola G6 play is a steal at $6.00 a month. It's a beautiful phone out of the box. At first you don't even know that the screen is plastic but overtime it does become apparent but it's not a deal breaker for me. The resolution is still decent. The operating system runs smooth but is a tad slower. Camera is good but not great although the easy to use slo motion video is a pretty cool feature. The best thing about this phone is the look and battery life. I'm on my phone all the time using YouTube, games, texting, and draftkings yet I can go a full day maybe day and a half without having to plug it in. Once I do it takes about 2 hours to get a full charge and I'm out the door. I bought the phone online and it shipped quicker than anticipated. The phone I give 4 stars. I'd still like it to be better but feel the 6 dollars a month was well worth it...The only negative I really have to say is Best Buy gave me a paper with instructions on how to activate the new phone...those instructions weren't very helpful and I ended up calling the att help line which was even less helpful. I would activate in store if given the chance again but overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

Nice phone. Good display, great sounding Dolby audio, massive battery, running oreo. Good fingerprint sensor. So far so good. I can recommend this phone highly.

5.7-inch display provides brilliant viewing, and its 16GB of storage lets you store plenty of apps. This Motorola Moto G6 Play smartphone has 2GB of RAM and a quad-core processor for smooth operation on Android 8.0 Oreo

it came with no detailed instructions. Half the memory is used up with apps that I won't be using. I don't think it has a speaker for hands free use. Not really impressed so far. Good thing it's inexpensive. I have had nothing to compare it to.

It is a good phone. The battery life for Motorola phones are really long lasting, and the phone itself is super easy to use. I couldn't be happier.

I am a hardcore Samsung phone guy. That being said, I really do like what ive seen out of this phone so far. Except , I know the motor had a mandatory encryption feature that was not did kissable, which I wanted to due to the fact it encrypted all my photos making them unveiwable on other devices via Google Photos. but I'm not sure yet if this phone has the same problem. besides that, I love it!

Love the fingerprint feature. Also like the gestures for turning on the flashlight and camera.

I've had good experiences with Motorola in the past and they did not let me down this time either.

I really was not expecting much out of this phone since it was so cheap, HOWEVER, it is surprisingly amazing!!! The battery life is excellent!!! I listen to music all day at work for an 8 hr shift and then watch my TV shows on my phone as well and the battery will still be at around 30% or more before bedtime! The battery life, the size, the camera, the fingerprint scan, the weight, the headphone jack at the top-which is great for when I'm walking a few miles for exercise, and the Moto apps... I've always stuck with my HTC or LG phones, but this Moto has exceeded every expectation I have. I originally just wanted to outright buy a cheap phone for my AT&T account, and ended up with a phone I love WAY MORE than my old HTC One M9 !

It's definitely a cheap alternative to the more expensive smartphones. I ordered this phone for my mother because she needed a new phone, and this was a good way to introduce her to the world of smartphones. However, the issues she's been having is that her phone cuts out a lot when talking on the phone. Sucks you only get 2 weeks to return a phone.
