Amazing For The Cost!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Moto G6 for the price is an excellent phone for its features. I currently have a iPhone XS and am amazed how the Moto G6 holds up at a fraction of a price. The screen size is about the same, and the processor holds up well with the stock Android OS. The camera has clear pictures and the speaker has Dolby sound. For someone who uses more than one phone it’s a great deal, but with no NFC for contactless paying, you’ll have to look elsewhere if you’re only going to have one phone.

Very Good Phone, Great Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The G6 does everything well (although people say I sound far away when linked to my car). In comparison with my Apple XR, it is slightly slower and the call quality is not quite as good, but my Apple phone cost 3x as much. You can't get a better value on a good phone as you do with the G6. It also feels very comfortable in my hand (the XR feels a little too big).

Great Phone for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can't complain about the phone. For what I use it for which is occasional pictures email and Navigation it works great. Coming from a Galaxy S6 I don't really notice much difference. I do miss the AMOLED display but the LCD display is nice and bright. In the end I just couldn't bring myself to spend $800+ on a new phone when I can be happy with the performance of one I paid $229 for.

Great Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my wife, and it is an unbelievable value for the money. $150 for an unlocked phone with virtually no bloatware that could easily pass as something significantly more expensive. For what my wife does - calling, texting, camera, Netflix, web browsing, video calls, Facebook - it works flawlessly. She likes it much better than the $600+ phone that it replaced. I could use one myself and probably not miss any of the features of my "premium" phone.

Very good mid priced cellphone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave this phone 5 stars because I am upgrading from an old Samsung S4 and it's a super fast, great camera and fast charging cellphone compared to my old phone. I can't say how it compares to the newest iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, but my son has an iPhone 7 and he likes my Motorola G6 just as good as his iPhone. I have been trying to get away from the super expensive cellphones and have done a lot of research of mid priced phones and you won't regret the G6 for the price.

Best phone at that price point! >$250
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was time for an upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy E5 TracFone. New android 8.1 Oreo is smooth and quick to respond. 8 core CPU is a big upgrade from old quad core. 32mb storage, plus added a 32 micro card for 64 total. Much better battery life over 24 hours on charges. Good JBL sound. Clear reception, good signal strength. Nice camera. Good video and sound. Only downside is to relearn a new phone's navigation. 4.65 out of 5. Great value on a miser plan.

Moto G6 Takes a Licking!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Moto G6 because it was a much more reasonably priced smartphone than others with similar features and stats. Let's face it, the Samsung Galaxy lineup offers a better camera and video, and is a bit faster. But otherwise the G6 has proven to be an excellent phone. Very solid feel, handles all the apps my last Samsung Galaxy S8 did without any issues. And I want to thank Motorola for making this an incredibly durable, water-resistant device. When I went to a ski resort in Vermont last February I took a bunch of videos while making runs, so I had the phone in a buttoned exterior pocket in my ski pants. One night after skiing I was doing a load of laundry that included these pants, and realized after half an hour that I couldn't find my phone... When I finally retrieved my phone from the laundry machine, it wouldn't turn on - obviously. So I opened the protective case and emptied the water inside, found a nearby grocery store and bought two boxes of dry rice, left my phone in a bowl filled with the rice overnight, and by 10am the next day it was functional again, if a little sluggish. By the next day it was running perfectly again, with just three small bright dots in the lower corner of the screen left to remind me of my carelessness. Based on my experience with the G6, I will absolutely continue to buy Motorola smartphones going forward.

Best Low Cost Unlocked Phone on Market
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I prefer to buy phones outright. This was the phone for me. I purchased while on sale at Best Buy and received a fantastic phone at a fantastic price! Great 16mp front camera with 32 GB of phone memory. Micro SD slot for added memory if needed. What else is needed in a phone? My husband has had many Motorola phones but this is my first. Have had it for a few weeks now and could not be happier! Overall a great phone at a great price!

Great, great value phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good screen, speedy processor and plenty of RAM, god camera, premium materials feel in the hand. It's a GREAT phone at $200, much better than I expected. I used to exclusively buy flagship samsung phones and still beleive them to be the best in the market, however the Moto is a very, very close experience and at 1/5 the price it has become impossible to justify paying for flagship phones anymore.

Great So Far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the phone for about 2 weeks now. Great so far! Takes excellent video and pictures. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because when taking pictures and video it will randomly change to a darker color and I can't figure out ohowto change that. Besides the lighting part, still excellent quality. Battery lasts long as well.

Good mid-range phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the money the phone has nice hardware-- screen etc. It is responsive. Sound quality is quite nice. I had no trouble getting onto T-Mobile with it. Everything just works. A good camera, with some nice software features. I like the screen size. It makes for a phone that fits comfortably in my hand. The screen has a nice display too. The turbo charger for the battery does a good job of quick charging. The battery lasts all day. The charger comes with a detached USB to USB C cable, something not mentioned in the product description. You won't need to buy another cable to connect to your computer. The glass back shows smudges and fingerprints as one can well imagine. I got a protective case. I won't see the back anymore. There are plenty of cases available. They improve 'grippability' too, at least for me. There are a few quirks. The timer function sounds very faintly for the first few seconds. I have no idea if this because of Android 8 or the Moto apps. I'll see if it is Android when the phone updates to Android 9 sometime in the next few months. It runs very close to stock android, without much additional stuff, which is nice. No crapware apps to remove. The Moto notifications can be a bit tedious. Something one may wish to turn off I do hope that this phone will last me the next 5 years, like my previous Samsung. I am quite happy with it.

Discount Pixel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly this phone performs almost similarly to a google pixel. Other than the fact it doesn't have the google launcher, and that it does not have the google camera. It virtually has everything else. Stock android works wonders on this device and theres very little Moto apps and bloatware if any at all. its a truly magnificent device for the money. Also to answer what headline. "discount pixel" 1. In benchmarks, otherthangaming Its day to day performance in multicore workloads is on par with the snapdragon 820 in the first google pixel. Sure it doesn't have 4gb of ram, but it also doesn't have as big of a display to power either making it a bit easier on the hardware. This phone from my us survives a full day with ample battery leftover if not more so than needed and i don't mind its overall performance when you actually push this device too. Its a very powerful value orientated device when it comes right down to it and yes, i would buy another one if given the chance to do so. The only downside in my personal opinion would be the Adreno 506 GPU. I get it. its a entry level graphics controller for mobile phones. it doesn't blow the doors off anything and to be honest, it plays every game just fine right now, but in the future, that might not be the case, and component of this phone might be its ultimate limiting factor sadly. Well..that and a nonremoveable battery. I'll never understand that trend.

Budget Champ
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price this is a stunning phone. I purchased the "blush" color which is a pinkish-gold (slightly golden pink). Put it in a clear case. Beautiful. Performance is fine. It is still using Oreo. My other phone is the Moto X4 -- two weeks ago it updated to Pie. Still, I love the G6. It is problem free and will get Pie in the Spring. Does all that, and I didn't have to shell out $1000+.

Great phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome phone for the price. Will never buy a premium phone again.. They're just not worth it. A mid-range phone like this works perfectly. Nice phone, great screen, good camera. Not the best battery life, but not horrible. Totally recommend this phone.

Great smartphone, good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great unlocked Android phone for 1/4 the price of the iPhone which I gave up on after the 4S. It is 90% of a high end phone at 25% of the price, so I don't feel so bad if I break it, which can happen, though this one seems pretty rugged if you put it in a decent case. The G6 is an all gorilla glass package, so for butterfingers like me, it's very slippery without a case! This is the second Moto series G phone I've owned, and these combine all the things I like in a phone, without the junkware, reshigh price, or lack of headphone jack in some other phones. I design wireless electronic devices for a living and teach other engineers, so I know a little bit about this.

excellent value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I downgraded from an LG v30 for financial reasons and havent regretted it. The only things i really miss are the LG's camera and peace of mind of IP68 water resistance. I initially did not like the fingerprint reader being on the front but combined with motos gesture system it is a nice cohesive system that allows you to get rid of the on screen buttons and get more screen real estate. Speaking of screen real estate this is a very nice size screen with minimal side bezels. I watch a lot of videos on my phone so that was important to me. the single front facing speaker is clear but dont expect too much its only $250. The camera is good enough for me except in low light situations then i miss my V30. Battery life is great for my usage and it charges relatively quickly through usb c. If you want a cheap unlocked smartphone with a modernish design (18:9 ratio) then its a no brainer

It's ok i would really like to give it a 3 1/2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's nothing special, but out is a step up from the moto 4 plus. Good pictures. But it was going good then it started blocking things i didn't want blocked, to many advertisements and outs not the apps i got either. Things it should block it don't. I haven't found anything special that it does. Faster that the moto 4

hello Moto!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was surprised, and pleasantly so. This phone is terif! Sound, storage, photos, text. It's all good. I'd take it over an iPhone any day for the price. Face rec and finger print, too. I have only a small issue w/ the way the silent mode operates, but I can live with/ it. Great value for the money - hoo-hoo!
