First of all, this is a phone for those people who don't want to spend several hundred dollars on a high-end smartphone, but want a very decent phone for less than 300 dollars. The quality of the phone is flawless in my opinion. Very well built, doesn't feel like a cheap phone in your hands at all. Due to my job, I need several applications loaded all the time and many of them running at the same time + my personal applications. I use it for bank account management, exercising, GPS, personal chat, work chat, gmail, other mail clients, social media and it does it very smoothly so far (after about 1 month). Screen is above average for its price range and battery life is the best I have ever had. it lasts for the whole day without any problem. Finally, I get updates very frequently, which means it is very well maintained by motorola.

I didn't want to spend 700-1000 on a phone. I went and checked out some phones when I saw this one. Man I tel you the Moto is sweet. I love it. Fast, the operating system is great - Better than Samsung ( which are the only phones I have ever bought prior to this) Get this phone. For 250, this is a great phone. When I get another I will look at Moto first next time over Samsung

Truly best bang for the buck. It really gives you a close to stock Android experience. Everything runs relatively fast and smooth. I thought the voice quality during calls is fine. The hardware is quite beautiful also to me. This phone really begs the question why pay $1,000 for a phone.

This is a great phone for the money. I especially like the fact that the selfie camera has a flash, very impressive didn't know it had that feature. Unit is unlocked, so it doesn't come with all the unwanted apps which the providers cram on locked units. The battery charges much faster than I expected, and last longer. Time will tell, but PLEASED so far.

I bought this phone after reading reviews at Tom's Hardware and other sites. It supports GSM and CDMA on numerous frequencies so it works on almost any network, you just have to change the SIM card. The screen is bright and very sharp; big but not so huge it won't fit in my pocket. The cameras are decent. The speaker for music or speakerphone is surprisingly good. The speaker for phone calls has sharp sound, but could be a bit louder; it can be hard to hear in noisy rooms.. If you are hard of hearing this may not be the right phone for you. For anyone else that wants a decent, well made phone for less than $300 you should check out the G6.

My S-5 finally gave up and I wasn't excited to make the equilivant of 2 house payments for a S-9. This phone actually performs better than my S-5. It took a few days to figure it out (didn't even have to consult my grandkids) but it works fine for a quarter of the price of a new S-9.

This phone replaced my iPhone 5s which I had for almost 5 years. I like to keep my phones for a long time so I didn't want the hassle to a payment plan. This phone is my first andriod phone. I like it. Battery lasts two to three days with me and I bought a sparin case that fits great. Great product and price. Can't beat for a budget phone.

    Big upgrade from Galaxy S4

My wife got this phone instead of the much more expensive Galaxy S8 (even though the S9 is out). We have collectively bought 5 Galaxy devices but they are getting to a pricepoint that they no longer represent value but a luxury purchase. Being Toyota drivers. She decided to be the Guinea pig and try the Moto G6. So far we are both impressed. Some learning curve issues coming from Samsung but she blames herself for not taking the time to learn the device. Given the price differential I'd say most people would do well to consider this over Samsung S8 or S9. It's painful to say because I really have been a Samsung fanboy but I detest being fleeced. And thats where they seem headed. I still have an S8 that will last a while but next time I'll look at the Moto.

I have had this phone for over a year now and it works as expected. For a $200 phone, it has all the features I need. Motorola is still pushing out updates (as of Jan 2020), so the phone is still being updated. The battery still lasts as expected. I purchased a G7 as well because of the quality of this phone.

The depreciation value of a phone is high. So, moto phones give a good value for money since they have decent latest tech inside and one can probably switch without lot of though after a year or so! Moto G6 has excellent fingerprint, decent camera, never lags in multiple apps & no bloatware apps slowing you down. Happy with the purchase!

This is my third Motorola phone. I also have Moto X Pure and Moto G4. I really like it. Good camera, lots of memory (which was a big factor for purchase). Easy to set it up, does what information said it would. For the price this is an excellent phone.

This is my second Moto G. I had the G4 before. The G4 cost me under $200 and lasted 2 years before I had a speaker issue--might have been resolvable but I didn't have the hours necessary to troubleshoot it. The G6, like the G4, has all the bells and whistles of iPhones (which I have through work) and the Samsung Galaxy I previously had without all the preloaded crap I don't want. And it is priced cheap enough to not need insurance that never pays off anyway...I first bought the G4 when I learned my Samsung Galaxy insurance I paid over $200 for over the years would not get me a replacement phone when Florida humidity killed it. Limited to 4 stars only because I wish the camera was able to catch my overly-hyoer grade schoolers a little better...but in fairness that may be my lack of commitment to mastering it. I mostly use it for phone, texting, email, camera, internet...no gaming. No speed issues.

I bought this to replace my wife's old BLU Studio XL. So far we like it, the cameras are responsive and the phone speed with her other favorite apps is fast and reliable. I haven't spent enough time with it to give it a more in depth review as of yet. For the money and our experience with it so far I would recommend it.

Camera sucks, and software has a bit of glitches, but screen quality and battery life are better than expected. Thankfully runs a really close version of stock AOSP so for $250 it's pretty hard to pass up when you need a phone and don't wanna spend a lot of money.

I bought this as a replacement for my wife's aging Moto X 2nd generation which was having battery issues. So far she's had the phone for about a week and is happy with performance, screen, feel, camera etc. It must be good, otherwise I would have certainly heard otherwise! If she's happy, then I'm happy!

I currently have this phone and the Note9. While the Note9 is far superior as far as specs go, this Moto G6 has surprised me. For the price, I am actually fairly blown away. Very smooth and responsive and looks/feels like a premium product. You can constantly get this phone around 200$ and that is a steal.

I was looking for a reasonably priced replacement for my iPhone 6s Plus. I got this one for under $200 which is a great price. The phone is pretty snappy and it has all the apps that I need. I am learning different things about it everyday.

This is an unlocked phone so it can be used with any carrier. It has many great features without a steep price. I have been looking for over a year for a phone that was reasonably priced and I am very happy with this phone. My husband also liked it so he went and got one a few weeks after I got mine.
