I needed to replace a phone that had been stolen and didn't really have the time /money to purchase a premium Apple, Galaxy, etc that I had been considering. Saw this advertised at a great price under $100 w/activation! Of course, as always the devil is in the details. A quick research/review advised that the G7 was one of the better values in this price range. So far so good...please note that this is 'Play' model and while it has the same features as the 'Power' model; the screen size is 5.8 vs 6.2. Getting used to this phone and am pleased with it so far. I think it is insane to pay $1k for a phone especially when you can buy a good functional phone for $150.

Nice phone. Bright display. Lots of bloatware, not sure if it can be trashed. Still getting used to it, but much better than my 5 year old phone. Camera is excellent. Phone is very fast.

Great cell phone for the price. Unlocked and very little bloatware. Motorola support is lousy, but otherwise a good product.

I don't need the fancy top of the line smart phone so this fit the bill perfectly. Has all the apps and features the expensive phones have and it is easy to use.

I purchased this phone because I have always had a moto g and the g series is a good value. Coming from the g4 play this phone is much faster. I am not a fan of the increased size; I would prefer something smaller like the iphone 8. I find myself "clicking" on icons by just holding the device because the bezel is so small. Other annoyances may just be Android 9 and not specific to this phone. (Not a fan of the apps drawer, prefer the old fashioned icon.) The vibrate noise sounds wimpy and the sounds seems a little quieter. Overall just an average phone that fit my budget of 129.99.

I purchased this to replace my teenager's first phone which was also a Motorola Moto. The only reason for replacement was that the screen cracked due to heavy handling. My teenager insisted we replace with the same type phone. I am sure there are other phones with more capabilites, etc. But this one is very easy for him to use. And price-wise it is a great fit for our budget. The only down-side is that it was dropped and the screen cracked before an otterbox could come in the mail (there were none for purchase in the store). But, we put on a hard screen protector and an otterbox anyway and it still works very well.

I hate getting new phones and trying to figured out where everything is, but this phone was easy to navigate. This phone is perfect for me, I don't like having all kinds of apps that run down my battery.

I bought this for my daughter when we switched carriers. Not as good as my Samsung Galaxy, but enough for her. It does what it needs to do and the price on sale was unbeatable. I wish it had a better built in music player like Samsung Music. I don't want my daughter to use Google Play Music in case she accidentally buys something.

Has a little bit of everything with a simple and easy to use os. For its price, it does a helluva good job. It has a pretty decent camera, good amount of ram, and great amount of storage. The battery life is bangin'.

so far, so good. installing the sim card requires use of a paperclip-like device that's included. the phone doesn't open, which eliminates the battery going flying if you drop it. Word of advice: installing apps does reduce the charge length. Pre-apps, this phone stayed on for 10 days straight, after i installed everything i normally use, it's more like 4 days.

I purchased this phone as an inexpensive back-up phone while my other phone is in the shop. It works remarkably well. It is a little slow, but the battery life is phenomenal. If it had a few more bells and whistles, and performed a little faster, I would just continue to use this phone instead of getting my other phone back.

Moto G7 was purchased for a person who had a Flip Cell Phone. Person absolutely Love the G7 with great pictures, how easy to use and learn all the Moto G7 apps. The Moto G7 gets a 10 for new cell phone users.

As far as applications it reacts quick, haven't played games on it yet. Natural solid feel, camera is sharp, people say they can't hear me sometimes when talking IDK if that's connectivity to network or microphone on phone. The screen is nice and texting is easy with built in swipe to text. Google voice command could be quicker but it's effective

Purchased this Moto G7 Play to replace another Motorola that was working fine, only was wanting something lighter. It turned out, guessing, the display phones are lighter. The G7 Play weighs a little more than the G4 Play. Everything else about the G7 Play are nice, mainly the faster charger, face unlock, better camera and 3000 mAh battery life.
