Great phone for the price. It doesn't have the round camera like the picture suggests. To find a case that fits exactly, search for a T-Mobile Revvlry Plus, but the choices will be limited. I am using a case for the round camera model and it fits fine. I paid 120 bucks so I cannot complain.

Very disappointing smartphone. Significant lag out-of-the-box. Best Buy's specs state that this phone possesses an AMOLED display - it does not. The display is actually of the LTPS IPS LCD variety, and it is terrible. I informed a Best Buy customer service agent of this discrepancy/error in the specs on their website/app, The specs have not been edited as of the writing of this review. See picture. I boxed this bad boy up and sent it back from whence it came in short order. Was really hoping to be impressed but was quite stunned at how utterly basic this phone was. My old Samsung S8 with a shattered screen iis 10 times the phone. Unless you're looking for a phone with performance that is typical of a 10 year old smartphone, stay away.

For $150 sale price it’s one of the best deals out there. The sound quality when using voice is incredible. I like the fact that it has a spot on the Sim card tray for a microSD card for expanded memory beyond the built in 64 GB for extra storage

Hi OKBestBuy, Sorry to hear your phone's back glass broke. The device has a 3D Glass back. Gorilla Glass is engineered to be more difficult to scratch and therefore more resistant to cracking, and it's strength allows use of thinner panes. But it is still glass and is expected to break if it is dropped or impacted. The device can still be repaired with a fee. Specs advertised here do not match the actual specs of the phone. 12mp front facing camera. There are no cases for this phone with its peculiar racetrack back camera ! Why make a pretty decent phone with no way of protecting the phone?! Other than different specs and inability to protect the phone, it's a nice phone for the sale price.

The item didn't come as described even on the tio ofnthe box it said it wasn't missing any accessories and it in fact was then when offered a refund if i sent it back i was charged a $45 restocking fee because they didn't do their job right. I have never left a bad reciew here before. It was necessary and more aimed at bestbuy than this product. This is the last straw for me i will never shop at Bestbuy again because of this.

I've owned the Moto g7 plus for a bit over a week, and think I've learned enough to give it a preliminary review. This phone gets most things right, but a few (mostly minor) are tragically wrong. Compared to all phones I've played with, I give it a B- . Compared to other phones in it's price range, I give it an A-, maybe a straight A. First, this is a budget phone (currently $120 USD unlocked) and should be judged accordingly. It's spec are among the best for sub-$200 phones, and it mainly delivers on those specs. Frustratingly, where it falls short has nothing to do with compromising to hit a price point, but pure sloppy decisions. I'll do praises first, then the digs. First, the fit and finish is fantastic. It does not look or feel like a cheap phone at all, and is a delight to hold. The screen is bigger, faster, and brighter than anyone should expect. Viewing outside in medium sun from an angle wasn't a problem. The sound is close to the best I've ever heard on a phone. The stereo Dolby speakers sound as good as you could hope, it's a pleasure to listen to music without my earbuds. The OS is remarkably clean. Aside from a few Google apps you might not want, there is zero bloatware, that's a real blessing. Motorola's own software is brilliant, and you will want to use it. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth both set up with no problem (though that's probably due more to Android 10 than Motorola). The guts under the hood give you good speed (Asphalt 9 runs fine, albeit with eye candy turned down) and better than average battery life (though not as good as it's stablemate, the g7 power). Speaking of power, the turbo USB-C charger is the bomb. I was able to go from drained to 80% in 30 min. Lastly, on the good side, the rear-facing cameras are plenty good enough for most uses. (and if you're looking for a pro level cam, look elsewhere). Like I said, LOTS to like in this phone. Now to the dark side. While the rear cameras aren't bad for a budget phone, the front (selfie) camera is virtually broken. The depth of field settings don't work as advertised, and everything beyond about 4 feet is blurred. This seems like a stupid problem that should have been solved with a simple tweak. Next bonehead move, memory. 4 GB ram, 64 GB storage (expandable to 1 TB w/SD card) sounds really good. Except it's not. While you can store up to 1 TB on an SD card, you can only use it for media files. For apps, you're hard locked to 64 GB (actually about 50 GB useable, the OS takes a chunk). That is remarkably stupid, and avoidable. For many years, most phones that had an SD slot could use that storage for apps (especially ones you didn't need often). Even older, more primitive Motorola phones, including the g6 and g7 lines. 64 GB might be plenty of apps for most people, but not for all, and letting you put apps on an SD is just basic phone tech these days. This is an unforced error that didn't save Motorola a penny. The cord on the charger is unfortunately short. One more foot would have made a difference. The phone has only minimal water resistance. I live in a wet climate, so more would have been better, but again you get what you pay for. Protection brings me to my last point, and the one that irks me the most, but has nothing to do with the phone itself. There is no case for this phone, not anywhere on the planet, if you have the version with the "racetrack", or oval phone, the best you can do is an approximation that will never quite fit. This is especially infuriating because earlier iterations of this phone came with a simple clear shock case. Plenty for most people, and probably costs 80 cents to make. I sometimes am rough with my phones, and if I had known this ahead of time it would have been a show-stopper. I need to use my phone as a tool, not baby it like a hothouse orchid. So in sum, it's really a very good phone for the money, with some features that only show up at triple the price. I am very happy with the phone itself, but the lack of a case is a serious hinderance for me. If your use will mostly be inside, this might be a non-issue, and you can enjoy a way better than average phone that punches out of it's weight class. And remember, I'm just an ordinary Joe, with my own opinions.

Thanks Rabblevox for giving us a positive rating. We appreciate your interest and chose this phone. Regarding SD card, devices that use file-based encryption are not compatible with adoptable storage. Most newer devices and higher end phones have file-based encryption which is why you are unable to format the card as internal/adoptable storage. Love this phone so far. Definite upgrade over my previous Moto g6, and the price is great. Can't get another phone with this level of functionality at the price. Also updates to Android 10 immediately. Finding a case was a bit of a challenge in light of the oval camera - it's not round as in the pictures - but I was able to find one on Walmart.com (sold by Bisen) for under $8 (w/ free shipping) that fits and works great. The case still has a round camera hole - but it's big enough that it fits over oval camera fine, and everything else on case lines up perfectly. BTW - you'll definitely need a case since phone is all glass and pretty slippery.

I will start with the good by stating that this phone has a beautiful HD Display, decent processor for a phone in the price range. The camera is great and takes beautiful well detailed photos. The camera also has the OIS feature which helps photos come out clearer and less blurry. Unheard of with a phone in this price range in my opinion. I also like the placement of the dual loudspeakers which sound really nice. I don't game much on my phone but I do watch Youtube and HBO Max and never had any problems streaming full hd video. My only big complaint is the battery life. Depending on how I use my phone, I will need to be charging it a lot when watching movies. It can be a bit of an inconvenience to me at times. also, I would definitely advise getting a good case and screen cover before using the device, as its very easy to drop and damage it.

It takes very nice pictures and videos. It have enough space (64GB). Battery life is great. It is slippery so it’s better used with a case.

I know this will sound nuts, but I bought this to replace an old 8-inch Samsung tablet. The usb mini port on the tablet is broken so I can't charge it, and repairs cost more than this phone. The tablet was running Android 5 or 6. This is rocking Android 10. My principal use of the tablet was as an audiobook player. This works for that. My current phone is a Samsung Galaxy S9. I can't really compare this phone to that one, but I got this Moto at a rock-bottom under $120 price, so.......? Important to note: This model has been discontinued. This phone is ACTUALLY a T-Mobile Revvlry+ 2019. The G7+ that Motorola rebranded for them was again rebranded as a Moto phone. It's really kind of idiotic, but it is what it is. If you want cases that fit, search for the Revvlry+ 2019 model. Positives - nice screen, quick response. It does what I need it to do. Negatives - Finicky fingerprint panel. I finally disabled it because it kept telling me I had too many attempts when it was just sitting on my desk. You cannot install apps on the SD card. It has a short battery life, but does charge quickly. This model is bigger and heavier than my S9. I wouldn't want it for my everyday phone. I think that's it. It's hard to find a case, it's heavy, but it works and the price is right. You could do a lot worse. For my uses, I can live with the issues and it never hurts to have an unlocked backup phone. My negatives are: that you can't move apps to the sd card. I

I bought this to replace a Motorola G6 Play, so that is my reference for comparison. It's faster, has more memory, and the 64GB internal storage means that I'll probably never have to install any extra memory. It does not come with a case or screen protector. It's noticeably better then my old G6 Play except this G7 Plus has a smaller battery, and I would give it a solid 5 stars if it had the bigger battery that some other similar Motorola phones have.

My wife crunched her expensive Samsung phone in are reclining couch. She was very down. I had the exact type of Samsung and gave her mine. I decided to just get an unlocked phone for myself until our next upgrade. I have had past Moto products in the past and always liked them. I went online at Best But and came across this Moto G7 Plus. I knew this would be perfect for me. I liked the fact that it came with 64 gigs and at 6.2" screen size was just fine. Camera had pretty good reviews to. At the sale price, it was a no brainer. So far, it has been great. Once I do upgrade down the road, this will be nice to have as a back up phone in case we have another recliner episode. I definetly recommend. **check out the sales Best Buy runs from time to time

Affordable smart phone to replace your failing or aging existing Moto G style model. Overall everything works fine and the camera is decent for the price. The only thing we didn't like was it's really hard to find a case for this phone. Apparently the Motorola g7 plus has a different look overseas and you can only find cases with a circle port for the camera. This model we purchased is a more oval camera so the cases online don't fit.
